Wonderful stay
The house was neat and clean, and very comfortable for me and my two sisters. Better than we hoped for. Would definitely stay here again.

Owners very attentive
Owners were very attentive, there was issue from a bad storm and owners were on it all the while understanding to us being there. House worked perfect for what we needed.

A short getaway.
This was a very nice, clean, and quiet place. I was by myself this trip. I normally come with my granddaughter. This would of been perfect place, big fenced in backyard with a swing set.

Family of 6 can for a month
Very nice neighborhood and a nice home with a big fenced in back yard. The location was very convenient to get everywhere we wanted and groceries are within 0.5 miles. I was able to send my 12y/o to run down the road and grab us some ice cream which was a blessing for us all. Good communication with the host as well.

Recline at Timberline was FABULOUS! We had a great stay at a great home. We went to Virginia because we had to attend a family funeral but the next time we go down for vacation we will be sure to stay there again! The house was clean, on a super quiet cul de sac with a fenced in backyard! It was all we had hoped for! Thank you Linda for sharing your house with us!

Richmond Futures Swim Stay
We stayed because our son swam at the Futures Swim event and toured UVA and got see see our 96 year old grandma. The house was perfectly fine and suitable however we visited during the heat wave and something is drastically wrong with the AC We couldn’t get the house under 80 sone days! The AC worked nonstop and did absolutely nothing. Was not a pleasant nights sleep when we were trying to rest our son for his events!

I am sorry you had issues with the AC. Had you contacted me I would have gladly sent someone to check it out. The first night you were there, I reached out and asked if everything was ok and if you needed anything. We depend on our guest feedback to make sure any problems are solved.

Great clean place
It’s a very nice cul-de-sac, quiet area. The house was very clean. My grandchildren loved the swingset in the backyard. We really enjoyed the area, very close to I-95. Thanks to the owners for the little goodies they left. It was a nice surprise.

Nice stay!
Quiet neighborhood, nice clean home and convenient to I-95, grocery store and restaurants. Screened porch with fenced backyard at the end of a cul-de-sac. Owner was very accommodating.

Perfect house for 5 people
We really enjoyed our stay at Timberline. The house was clean, cozy and inviting. The bedroom situation was perfect and we really enjoyed the space in the large master suite. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and is near a grocery store, gas station, restaurants etc. We are so happy we chose to stay here for our visit to Richmond. I highly recommend!

Convenient Location
In town for a wedding, house was close location to the venues we had to go to! The fenced in yard was awesome for our dog, and they had a poop scoop/bags to cleanup as well. The swings/slide were great for our toddler. Screened porch was nice to relax on in the mornings. Only thing that felt weird was the front/backyard cameras, but understand as it's a rental that the owners want to make sure their property is secured. Overall a great property, and would stay again if we are in the area!

Great rental. Back deck could use a little TLC.
This property was great overall. The pet friendly was great and the pet fee wasn't extreme. Plus we were able to book quickly on short notice. Only thing we noticed out of sorts is that the back deck needs some repairs / upkeep.

Great for what I needed.
We had a nice time. The beds were firm but comfortable and the living area was comfortable. Some caveats: We stayed for two nights, but we were only supplied with two towels, and there were three of us. One of the bathroom light bulbs was burned out. I recommend that Linda and Grant have a supply closet for guests that includes extra towels and lightbulbs, etc. Also, there are cameras on the porch and I felt uneasy when the camera started saying my name when we were trying to check in. I would prefer the host simply text me. It unnerved us that we were being watched when we arrived and any time we left. It also made me think we were in an unsafe area. We had trouble getting into the property and then we had to wait for the lock to reset in order to leave. This was our fault for not clearly reading the instructions. That said, the location was great for visiting my mom and easy access to the interstate. Thanks!

Thank you so much for your review as it is very helpful! We have been supplying towels based on the number of guests and nights stayed. Your booking request said two adults and pets. The third guest was a surprise but you are right and we will supply a minimum of 4 towels for two people going forward. We weren’t aware of a burned out bulb until the cleaner came. We had spares in the maid’s closet and she changed it out. We are always available for any assistance needed, but your suggestion is a good one and we will add some to the linen closet. I’m sorry the camera upset you. It is there for our protection as well as yours. It is the only way we can see if guests decide to have a party and bring many people with them. As it turned out, your lock code had an error programmed, and I saw you struggling to enter so I wanted to let you know we were working on it. The neighborhood is very safe and the neighbors are great, and look out for the house. Thank you for your helpful review, and please come back.
