Enchanting Home with Stunning Views and Gracious Hosts

My husband and I eagerly anticipate our annual October retreats to Vivien's enchanting haven in Point Richmond. The moment we step inside, we're greeted by breathtaking vistas from the living room and deck—vivid sunsets melting into the horizon and the twinkling San Francisco skyline casting its magic. The home is a masterpiece of comfort and style, so well-appointed that it feels like our own personal sanctuary. Vivien and Jeff are the epitome of gracious hosts, their warmth and kindness making each stay unforgettable. Once we settle in, the tranquil waterfront setting is so mesmerizing that we find it nearly impossible to leave.

Perfect setting for a girlfriend reunion!

Five fabulous women stayed here for a yearly reunion. The location is amazing and the walk into town was scenic and fun ( look for the fairy houses!). The hosts were lovely and had some great recommendations for local sites and activities. The unit itself was very comfortable with all amenities listed. It slept the five of us comfortably. The deck with views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge was definitely the highlight of this beautiful place. Would definitely book again!

Peaceful & comfortable with an amazing view!

Our family of five (2 adults and 3 teens) stayed here as our home base for a one-week Bay Area adventure. Vivien was a wonderful communicator and offered great suggestions. She has an informative binder that details everything from local restaurants and grocers to how the light switches work. We all felt so comfortable relaxing in the morning, walking up and down some impressive hills into the picturesque town, and gazing over the water at the San Francisco skyline. I highly recommend staying in this lovely home! It was the perfect spot to serve as our home away from home as we explored Marin County, San Francisco, Muir Woods, Alcatraz, and even a road trip to Yosemite!

Location was amazing!

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. The deck and beach was spectacular! It was a perfect location for all of our destinations in the area. The view was incredible and our children loved throwing rocks down at the beach. Vivien was an amazing host- very responsive and cared about the details. She was extremely helpful with suggestions and recommendations when needed. We would stay here again!

Views, views, views!

Our first visit to the Bay Area and we couldn’t have found a better spot. The breathtaking views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge and the bay at your footsteps with an amazing deck and beach. Vivien and Jeff were a wealth of information about all there is to do while we were there. If you’re planning a trip to the Bay Area this is the place to stay and we will not hesitate to stay here again if we get the opportunity to return.

Felt very safe, loved the views, and were very comfortable.

It was our family of 4. Two kids, 17 and 15. There was a great amount of room for our family. Kids both got their own rooms and we shared the “connected bedroom to the living room” with amazing views. We put up the partial dividers, which helped when someone wanted to stay in the living room later, or sleep in more. For us, it worked great, for 3 couples, it would be tough. The views were great. We loved seeing the city every night, even though we only went to San Fran 2 days. Those days were crazy and it was so nice to spend the quiet nights home. We loved our stay. Birds were great, saw sea lions 1 day, felt safe and would definatley return. Thanks for a great trip!!!

we enjoyed a day in the city and coming home and relaxing near the bay, lots to watch on the bay and catch the cool breeze. I love how the owners are nearby and can ask them questions about the area!!

Quiet house centrally located & right on the water

Quiet neighborhood with a deck right on the Bay. Two days we even saw a harbor seal off the deck! Easy to get into San Francisco over Golden Gate Bridge or via the Richmond ferry. Went to Stinson beach, Golden Gate Park, Pier 39, rode cable cars, and returned to our lovely house listening to the waves throughout the evening. Great location for a family adventure.

What a View!

I showered with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. That would be enough but then there's a whole incredible home attached to it! This property sits across the bay from San Francisco with a lovely view of the city skyline and the bridge and was enough speace for the 5 of us. Nestled at the end of a quiet, safe little neighborhood and literally steps from the water, this property is perfect for a trip to SF. 30 min by ferry or car to downtown, lots of dining and shopping options nearby, all with the peace and solitude of a waterfront property. I cannot wait to go back.

Amazing views and upper level.

We rented the house to see family in the bay area. Overall it was fantastic, and I hope to stay here again when I come back!! Pros: View! Sunsets, the bay, 2 bridges, mountains, ducks, ships. At night stars and the city lights. Could sit there all day. Upper level- big open space, tons of windows. Lots of places to sit. Kitchen- huge and well equipped. Hot tub- Nice wood tub, views. Beds- comfortable. The one in the suite is the most comfortable ever. Cons: Downstairs bedrooms: The doors are mostly glass with a blind so it’s not very private. Initial check in- the house is a little hard to find as are the stairs leading down to the house.

Amazing vacation!!

We loved our stay at Vivien’s beach front home. Our hosts were very kind and accommodating, they stayed in contact with us the entire stay and were very responsive. They were always willing to share recommendations and ask if there was anything we needed. The view from the deck is amazing and the breeze and the sounds off the bay were an amazing way to wake up each morning and wind down in the evening. The shower was fantastic with plenty of hot water to go around for 4. Coffee, tea, shampoo, body wash, soap, tp, towels and spices were all in more than adequate supply for our week long stay. Location made a perfect home base for our vacation making San Francisco, Muir Woods, Napa, Point Reyes, Sausalito, HWY1 all very easy to access from a central location. If we come back to the Bay area to continue exploring we definitely would stay again!

Stay Here to Enjoy Peaceful Sounds and Sights of the Bay

Wow! What a great place to stay. The beds and furnishings were comfy. Very easy to communicate with our host. All of our needs were met. Enjoyed the space, location and the amazing views. We enjoyed watching the Blue Angels perform and the sailboats on the bay. We took our paddle boards our for a spin. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Quaint bungalow with a fanastic view and property owners.

Loved the qauintness of the house and the amazing shower! Spectacular views and quiet area. Very relaxing!
