Lovely room, handy downtown location

We were in Richmond to visit with family and needed something roomier than a hotel room that fit our budget. This was perfect. Our host was very helpful.

Richmond Penthouse

Super cute place and good location walkable to many restaurants. Could use some more dishes & cooking utensils. The only inconvenience is the parking that expires at 6am daily. You have to set your alarm to renew the parking since it can't be done automatically with the app.

Just what we needed

We were looking for a centrally-located, comfortable spot from which to explore Richmond. I can’t do stairs, so the easy access from the parking lot out back and the elevator made it perfect for me. Our hosts greeted us warmly and urged us to contact them with any issues or questions. We didn’t need them, but it was nice to know they were close by, in the music store. The 4th floor apartment was spacious and plenty quiet enough despite being on a busy street. We were very pleased and would come again.

Very efficient and homey

My stay at this location was flawless. The host went above and beyond and provided intricate amenities that matter when staying away from home. The property was clean. Quiet. And very welcoming. The on larding process was quick and very professional. An actual representative was there to give a tour and to answer any questions or concerns about the property. One of the best experiences I’ve had using this platform. Highly recommended and would definitely utilize this listing again.

Great Stay in RVA

We have stayed at a few of Mark's places and always have a great stay. His places are clean and well-maintained. We love the location, so close to everything. This top floor place had a nice view - we love the large windows overlooking the city street. Mark is a great host - he has always been very responsive and accommodating.

Weekend get away

Everything was clean and couple minute walk away from the property. If you are in town for a weekend wedding at the Renaissance this place is right next door. Lots of fun little shops next to it too

Could have been better

We have stayed in many VRBO properties and have been very pleased. This one was not among the best of them. A small thing but the ice maker didn’t work so there was no ice. I was told that they knew it wasn’t working and they told me where the nearest store was. Seems like they would have put a bag of ice in the freezer. There appeared to be no effort to fix it. In check out communion we were asked to sweep the property. We had paid a cleaning fee. Seems like sweeping should be included. On previous visit to Richmond we had stayed in a lovely VRBO. Sorry I tried something new.

Great place!

It was very quaint. My wife and I loved it. Plenty of room. We loved our stay there in Richmond. I have to come back in August and am hoping to stay again. This could be where we stay when we visit family there from now on

Wonderful stay while in town for Conference

I tagged along while my husband was at the conference center for work and it was perfect! Easy walk to restaurants and coffee shops and busses are free so you can jump on to see any historical sites. The room is clean and easy to get to! Highly recommend!

The stay was great overall. The property is a beautiful restoration. The apartment was as advertised . The comfort level left a bit to be desired . But the absolute best part was the communication with the owner and staff. Also your cleaning services clearly don’t vacuum

Great location and lovely historic condo

My husband and I stayed in Richmond for a long weekend and lucked onto this beautiful condo in downtown. We are fans of old buildings and this one was old but still in great shape, very nicely kept up and included all the amenities we needed. The condo had 3 huge street- facing windows that admitted Plenty of light and made for some fun watching of the street scene below. Check in was seamless and the hosts were super responsive. We had to keep moving our car around in order to obtain reasonable parking that did not expire at 6 AM or some other time like that, but we worked it out. We would definitely stay here again

Awesome Location

We went to Richmond for a play at the Altria Theater and this location was within walking distance to the theater and some great restaurants. We only stayed one night, parking was right behind building. Host was excellent with great info.

Hidden gem in Richmond!

Very nice and within walking distance to most of Richmond. Plenty of good restaurants, bars and breweries nearby as well. We enjoyed our stay!
