  • This cozy bungalow was built in 1900 and is conveniently located right off Main Street & just one block from the Glenn Miller Park entrance. The bohemian decor throughout as well as the original wood details on the staircase & ceiling beams make for an unique setting. It’s centralized location is easy to find & access from any part of the city, and the off street parking is helpful as well.

Nice walk to Glen Miller Park and Richmond Rose Garden. Front porch nice for morning coffee.Time for the pillows to be refreshed, they were quite flat.Listing states "swimming pool" which was is in accurate (and obvious from photos and the general area) , but it also states ammenities include "Washer" and "Dryer" which it does not have.

First off, it took me 4 hours after check-in time to get the check-In instructions, after messaging host twice, contacting VRBO directly and calling all numbers listed. The cohost was not very friendly and instead of apologizing straight away she stated that VRBO was supposed to send the instructions. The fridge was dirty, there was a used loofa and dried shampoo bottles in the bathroom. The decorations of this house were absolutely gorgeous and the location is great.

Cozy and Charming

We very much enjoyed our 1 night visit at the Boho Bungalow! The house was cozy and charming. Everything was clean and the property host gave clear information for our stay. We highly recommend this location.

This house suited our needs. It is somewhat dated, but despite that, it has charm.The bedrooms are roomy, and there was one mattress that was firm, the other soft.The house is right off of Main St and there are many fast food options within walking distance. Other shopping and sit-fown restaurants are an easy drive away.I appreciated that we were one block from the rose garden and had walking trails nearby.

Beautifully decorated

If you like the style of an older home, this is a great home for you. A beautifully decorated home, clean, close to shopping and the highway. Spacious living room and dining room. Comfortable beds as well.

Great experience

This was a very cute little historic home, some of the homes around it are not in the best of condition but don’t let this deter you…we felt safe and had no problems leaving our enclosed trailer in the drive…plenty of nice local places to eat (Smiley’s Pub) was great…walked Glenn Miller Park and felt completely safe…would definitely stay again…communication with the host was very quick, check in and out was super easy…

Neighborhood a little blighted. Little house is a great piece of history. Very well maintained, appointed and loved. We were comfortable.

Lovely home

My husband, son, and I stayed here the weekend of our daughter’s graduation from Miami University. It was so cute and easy to access. The communication was awesome and check in/check out process was simple. Would definitely recommend.

Clean, comfy. We weren't there for long, just to sleep and get on our way. Property description said it slept 5, but there are only 2 double beds. Our 5th person had to sleep on a small couch.

The grass needed mowing in the parking area, otherwise everything was clean. Floors squeaked, but to be expected since it is an older home.

House Perfect, Communication Stressful

I highly recommend this place, but make sure you get all of the access information and confirm the address before you start your trip. It was very tough to get in touch with the host and didn't receive the access information until hours after check in time and an hour after we arrived. The listing had the wrong address so we were driving around for an hour just to find the property. However, once the host finally sent us the correct address and the access information, we were pleasantly surprised with how perfect the house was. It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed in the bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place if you can find it

Richmond is a beautiful town, but navigating it was a challenge due to closed roads, dead ends, and one-way streets. We arrived as it was getting dark and beginning to rain. We circled round and round trying to find the bungalow, and determined that the address given in a VRBO email does not exist. Then we found a different address in a different email, the email that also included the key code. The second address was not easy to find in the rain, but it turned out to be correct. The key code worked on the first try. Once we found the bungalow, it was great. It is an older house with character, but it has been refurbished. The bathroom and bedrooms are upstairs. The basement is exceptionally clean. The front porch is a great place to drink coffee in the morning. We had a nice chat with the neighbor, who has a beautiful garden. It is a very good place to stay if you can find it.
