The kitchen was equipped better than mine at home! The hot tub was a wonderful way to end the day, with wonderful views of the lake and night sky. The host was very responsive and helpful. We brought our two dogs with us, and they loved being able to come on our mini-vacation with us. Looking forward to being able to visit again!

we rent a house in the area every year for our thanksgiving vacation & this is our favorite place we’ve ever stayed! Will definitely be booking again :) The house was perfect, the most comfortable beds, great WiFi, a perfect yard for our 4 kids & our dogs. No complaints at all, we can’t wait to be back!

Amazing!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here with our puppy a lot! The property was so nice and spacious plenty of room for our puppy. It was so peaceful during the day and especially at night. It was the perfect place for relaxing outside. The boat was a great addition to our stay it really became the highlight. The water on the lake was very warm and clean, perfect for swimming and tubing. We spent hours just relaxing on the lake. The hot tub and pool were also amazing to relax and have fun in. The owners were also extremely nice and welcoming. They were so kind and made sure our stay here was perfect. I could not recommend this place more! Our stay could not have been better!

Excellent accommodations. House is very well stocked.Everything you could need. Only thing missing was soap for the showers. The pool is terrific. Beautiful lake view. Not easy to get the canoe to the lake (we’re too old I guess). It was great for us, our son and daughter-in-law and our 2 grandchildren.

Much needed respite

I'm actually sorry that it took me this long after the trip to give this review. My brother in-law, my friend and I truly enjoyed the remoteness of the place. It was so peaceful. The accommodations itself was everything we needed, and being actually close to town was great. We will definitely be back to this gem, in fact we regretted not staying longer. Wonderful spot!

So quiet and comfortable! Can't remember the last time we've been able to relax this much. Plenty of towels, linens and kitchen necessities Also, Internet is really good, so if you have to plug in,you won't be disappointed. Will definitely book again.

We had a wonderful stay at this lakeside retreat. The setting is incredibly peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had plenty of cookware to prepare meals. We also enjoyed the nearby hiking trails.

Down for a wedding, stayed for a vacation!

What a wonderful, peaceful place! Thank you for sharing your home with us and our family, Bryan and Delia, to enjoy while we were down for a wedding and added time for vacation. The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed (especially a/c which was greatly appreciated with the hot humid July weather)! We rented the pontoon boat for 3 days and enjoyed time on the lake, cruising, tubing, fishing and swimming. We brought our floaty-chairs and found a cove to anchor in and float, swim and enjoy some down time/family time. Bryan and Delia are great hosts. Would highly recommend!

Quiet cozy getaway on the lake

We (my parents, spouse, and two dogs) stayed at this property for four nights. We enjoyed how remote the house was to other people. The host did a great job describing the area in the listing. The local town was only about 15 minutes away but at the house we hardly saw others. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the lake, which was nearly deserted even on a holiday weekend. We also rented the host's boat while staying and loved having the option to combine a place to stay with the boat rental. Bryan was nice and helpful in showing us around the boat the day he dropped it off. We hope to stay again in the future!

Great Getaway from Triangle

Amazing Scenery with Comforts of Home

Relaxing Family Adventures at the LAKE!

Our family enjoyed this lake house for a week during our Spring Break. It was wonderful to get away from the noisy beach life of Florida and enjoy the calm environment with it's amazing views sunup to sundown! Our boys fished, enjoyed tubing on the pontoon boat, and letting our lab swim in the water. Brian was an amazing host with attention to detail and quick communication. We hope to return to this place again in the future!

Amazing House on the Lake

This home was such a wonderful, secluded home in NC. Waking up to drink coffee on the back porch looking at the water was so peaceful. We enjoyed the boat and hiking. Incredible place to stay with your family!

The perfect getaway!

This was hands down a great and wonderful vacation. This property and its owners are truly phenomenal in every aspect and provided us the best family vacation we have ever had. The home and property were perfect and provided an absolute a wonderful experience. We truly felt like we had a private lake at times with a home that was surrounded by woods and wilderness to give that private and secluded atmosphere we were looking for. Our family will without a doubt be returning for another family vacation.

Peaceful and disconnected

We truly enjoyed our stay. Bryan and his wife went out of their way to make sure we had every comfort. I only wish we took more pictures but we used this seclusion to disconnect from our devices, so rarely did we even have a phone for pics. Water temp was in the 80s so fishing was slow but we gave it our all. Everything was clean and just as described. Ive seen posts about the cleanliness of the property and i didnt understand that, my 1 yr old grandbaby crawled from one end to the other of the house and i never gave it a 2nd thought. All of our kids are engaged or soon to be but it was great seeing them sit down with out devices and play card games and reconnect. Thanks again we enjoyed the boat the lake and the seclusion.

This place was amazing. My family have rented many vacation properties this by far has been the best one yet. Bryan and Delia have the house completely stocked with any essential item you may need. Great Secluded Getaway
