  • Need space for a family getaway, wedding weekend, golf trip, or small group retreat? The Log House offers the perfect mix of comfort, privacy, and peaceful surroundings on 65 wooded acres just outside Saint Stephen.

    Spend your days exploring the trails through the woods, relaxing by the fireplace, gathering for meals on the deck, or watching beautiful sunsets from the front porch. Deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors, adding to the quiet charm of the property.

    Weekly rentals run Friday to Friday to make the most of your weekends away.

    A local caretaker lives in a separate residence on the property and is available if you need anything during your stay. Guests still enjoy plenty of space and privacy while having someone nearby as a helpful resource if questions come up.

    Just a short 10-minute drive away, Mississippi River County Park offers year-round outdoor activities including hiking and biking trails, an archery range, and cross-country skiing in the winter.

Our stay at the Log House was absolutely wonderful. We stayed for about a week around Christmas and the house was decorated beautifully! We are big on homecooked meals around this time so a well stocked/equipped kitchen is important to us, and it met all our needs from cooking to baking. Plenty of space for 7 adults. The beds are comfortable. Communication with the host was very easy. The few issues that did arise were addressed and dealt with quickly. Overall well worth the stay and we would book again in the future.

A beautiful country location for our family gathering. Very well groomed landscaping and the house was wonderful for entertaining and visiting. Thank you! Owners were always responsive to my messages and made our stay very easy.

Our group of six absolutely LOVED this property! The house is cozy and has everything you could need. Outside, the landscaping and gardens are beautiful! We appreciated the recommendations from our hosts and all the wonderful (local) info in the house's big book. Will absolutely be back!

Friends weekend

This is our second stay at the Log House - it's so comfortable for a weekend of food, friendship, and disconnecting from the busyness of everyday life. Love being surrounded by nature, plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms, great kitchen, etc.

Amazing Place!

Stunningly gorgeous place. So comfortable and adorably decorated. The house had everything you need for an enjoyable stay and more. The place is on lovely land with walking trails. The place is perfect for a large family or for a friends getaway. Highly recommend this cabin. I plan on renting it again with the same group I went with plus rent it again a different time and bring others.

This property was amazing. It was well-stocked with supplies. The location is beautiful and so peaceful. My granddaughters loved the loft area. The cabin is very spacious and tastefully decorated. We would definitely return to his location.

Girls weekend

The perfect little retreat for a girls weekend. We had a wonderful time being snowed in, spending time reading by the fire, watching the passing wildlife, playing dungeons and dragons and enjoying some time away from the kids.
