"We spent 2 nights in Woodlands Cottage and loved it. It was spotlessly clean with new bathrooms and a well appointed kitchen. The directions sent in advance were great, as was the tip to use the shortcut through the woods to the local pub. For a local walk, the Bubwith Rail path was really nice."

"A lovely, clean and modern house, with everything we needed for our short stay. A 7 minute cab ride to the centre of York. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were spotlessly clean.Just a heads up - the bathroom is downstairs, which we didn't notice on the listing, so our fault not the host's, but just to mention in case anyone is concerned about having to go downstairs in the night for the loo!Would happily stay again."

"Close to tow n just 15 min walk . The stairs were very steep with a short tread so it was difficult to get up and down . I would say it is not suitable for older people and young children . The dining table was very wobbly . so that needs some attention .
