It's a lovely interesting house in a great spot.It does get cold in the winter and the single hetpump head at the entry door doesn't cope with heating the whole house. Bedrooms have their own little space heaters in walls, but the main space stays quite chilly. You have to use the stove, which is great, unless you have kids who might touch the scorching metal.Management by Vacasa is unsatisfactory. Communication score - zero. First I asked (a few days before the trip) if there was a crib and a high chair at the property. I got a response one day after we checked in and it wasn't even an answer, they were asking if my question was still relevant. Then on the day prior to checkout I asked about late checkout availability. 3 days (!) later I got a response saying that they "see that we've already checked out and that they'd appreciate our understanding and patience'". Well, no sh*t , Vacasa, we have checked out, your hosts did't get the late checkout fee and I will try to never stay at Vacasa managed properties again. There are enough alternatives so far.
