Just Perfect!

The view and sound of the river from this home (and hot tub!) was exactly what we were looking for. The house is VERY comfortable, clean, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The trails were an unexpected and welcome surprise, as well. Communication with the host was excellent and check-in/check-out were simple and straightforward. Will absolutely be staying here again!

Relaxing stay

This property is in a great location on the Sandy River. My son fished every day and caught several small trout that he released. The trail along the river offered a nice spot to walk the dog. It was very quiet at night and the fire pit was a great place to wind down.

Family Weekend

This was a great vrbo. It was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. All the small details were taken care of. It worked well for our family of gramma, gramma, mom, dad and two kids. It was a great base to explore the area.

A wonderful stay

Such a beautifully updated property. My entire family enjoyed staying here. The property is clean, updated and well maintained. The kitchen is very well stocked and feels far more spacious than it looks. We have stayed in several rentals over the years and this was one of the best that I remember. Many places have a tendency to provide the bare minimum. This is not the case here. We were provided with plenty of towels and tabs for both laundry and the dishwasher. They even had multiple first aid kits, Q-tips and cotton balls. There was a burn ban while we were there so we couldn't use the fire pit, but the river in the back yard was beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and the local people were very kind and helpful. The king sized bed is a bit worn out and dips in the middle, but my teenage sons said the the beds upstairs were quite comfortable. As a small FYI, the upstairs doesn't have an actual bedroom. It is a loft style upstairs with the daybed in the hallway and the twin bed in what appears to be a very spacious but low ceilinged former closet with a drape for a door. I had a 5'8 14 year old sleeping in there and he was very comfortable. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again. I highly recommend this property.

Beware of winter travel to this property!!!!!

I have no issues with this property as far as cleanliness or accuracy of the listing, however this house is NOT prepared for a power outage or harsh winter weather. I stayed at this property on January 12th with my family, including a six year old child. The power went out the next morning at 7am. The entire house runs on only electricity and there was no way to stay warm. We sat through the first day as the temp dropped into the 40's indoors, then woke up the next morning to the temp being 32 degrees. The back door is a French-style door and has a huge gap at the top, bottom and through where it meets. Cold air was pouring into the house through this gap and then with the wind, we had actual snow in the house! We found a small propane heater in 2 of the rooms, but no propane!!! All in all, this trip was one I will remember for how absolutely messed up it was and how little the management company seemed to care. I packed up my entire family and left the morning of the 14th, and asked for a refund for the nights we didn't use (we were supposed to be there until the 17th.) The property company said to reach out to insurance. I called VRBO and they set up a case with the management company asking to give me a refund and they said no. I tried to call the management company and got no answers. Very frustrated and disappointed. I've been a faithful VRBO user for more than 10 years. This is the only time I've ever had such poor communication, such a bad experience. Beware!!

Beautiful

It was so peaceful and quiet. A huge break from the city is just what we needed to get refreshed and ready for another week. My partner and I loved it for a Valentines trip, with Mt Hood just up the road. It was amazing.

1 yr anniversary

It was a beautiful place inside and out. Miscommunication about our dogs. When I did the online process it asked how many adults how many children and if you had pets. I marked the pets but I was never asked how many. So when we got there, they called me and said they got notice that I have dogs. So had to pay another $400 which is fine but I took them home the next morning but still had to pay the full $400 when they weren'teven ther for 24 hrs. We were there for 2 days. Got another notice when our kids showed up. Always felt like we were always being watched lol but overall we had a great time
