Wow! what a great villa. Perfect open plan living, kitchen and dining area, with big sofas and TV (connected to Netflix and Youtube connections plus cable channels in English), but also lovely big bedrooms ideal if you have teens who want a bit of down time and space to themselves. The pool/patio area is a great place to relax with plenty of sun but also shade if you need it. It's located close to the main road to Rhodes Town and Lindos and up to the Butterfly valley and zoo. But far enough from the main roads that it is very quiet. And the sea is a few hundred metres away, together with great seafood restaurant Fresco.
Everything is to a high standard, and thoughtful with salt, oil, tea/coffee for coffee machine etc all provided, plenty of toilet paper and bin bags, pegs for the washing line etc.
Perhaps the best thing about this property is the owner Georgios. What an exceptional and kind man he is. Our flight was late and our satnav not great, so we arrived super late but he was super lovely checking we had food, stopping at a supermarket. He is very responsive if you don't know how something works. A bonus is the air conditioning also works as heating, as we were there in April and the nights were sometimes chilly. He cannot do enough for you, but is in no way invasive. Probably one of the loveliest villas we have booked via Vrbo in 10 years of using the site, and by far the most cordial owner. Stay! You wont' regret it.
Rhodes is perfect for long lunches, friendly people, great historic sites, and a lush green interior. Don't miss the petting zoo, we fed lemurs and stroked them, plus ostriches and camels.
