It was a nice cabin and we especially enjoyed the tub. We had a hard time finding the cabin. We went around the bigger lake a couple of times before we found the right turn-off.We could not find life jackets for the canoe and kayak. Did go out in the kayak anyway when we had nice weather It had rained 3 of the 6 days we were there.We really enjoyed the peace and privacy. The cabin met all of the needs we were looking for. The trees were beautiful.I think it was peak color that week. The quacking aspens wete gorgeous especially when a breeze would make the leaves look like little spinning gold circles. Glad we found the place.

Beautiful peaceful lake stay

The house is a great Lake house that comfortably slept our family. The property is lovely & the lake is gorgeous. Crystal clear water, great fishing & the provided kayak, pedal boat & canoe were perfect for enjoying the lake. It was incredibly relaxing & peaceful.

Hot summer nights

The house looked as expected. We couldnt have planned on the hottest 4 days of the year however. Noting there was no AC we weren’t expecting a cool comfortable night, however the outside was much cooler than the inside. If there was only a cross breeze but the way the house is set up there is no moving air through the house. 93 inside with all fans running! But like i said we knew, no AC, we had some real long sleepless nights. The first 24 hours we had no tv or internet . After repair service came back the second time, they said the owners had changed the user name and password. We spent a lot of time on the phone trying to figure this out beforehand with them. I suggest putting a tv in the lower level as we could have all bunked on the floor as it was 10 degrees cooler down there. New shower downstairs is needed and the bed upstairs was terribly uncomfortable, and the platform bed, which we hit are knees on more than a dozen times needs to go! We loved the lake and the property, all amenities were there. Just wasnt our best trip due to all circumstances.

3-night stay

The bathrooms were updated. The house was very clean. The beds were comfortable. There were a lot of neat decorations. The kitchen was well equipped. The dock was brand new. Had fun using the kayak. We bobber fished off the pier and caught bluegill, sunfish, large mouth, and small mouth bass. No keepers but very enjoyable. We saw eagles 3 times. Also, saw a woodpecker about the size of a raven that was all black with a red head. A hummingbird came up to one of our house guests within 6 feet. This would be a great vacation for adults and families. Very peaceful and relaxing. Would do it again.

A simple renters note book saying how to operate TV, saying tv is only Netflix apparently also and how to operate each room thermostat. We never seen a thermostat like that and didn't know what to do.

A breath of fresh air

My husband and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. We enjoyed the deck view, dock, and campfire area. Also a great area for soaking in some fall color drives. Bond falls in MI is definitely worth the 1.5 hour drive from the cabin. We hope to take our kiddos back during the summer. The only thing we couldn’t figure out was the TV set up in the bedroom or bathroom. Ultimately, I was too busy reminding my husband who was the Yahtzee and Cribbage champ is so it didn’t impact our trip. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us!

Lakeview North

My family and I really enjoyed our long weekend here. This beautiful, peaceful place was just perfect for us to reconnect. The cabin is well appointed with everything you could need. The beds were comfy and clean. There is no AC but the house has two ceiling fans and fans in all the bedrooms. The upstairs bathroom is quite nice with a jetted tub, two sinks, even a towel warmer! The lake was clean, has a sandy bottom, and panfish for the catching at the end of the dock. The firepit was used every night. We definitely recommend this wonderful property!

Nothwoods retreat

We enjoyed the stay for the most part. House was very nice the lake was beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking planty of pans dishes etc. They had Internet but internet TV so that was a little disappointing. Over all very nice stay.

Fishing was ok. Cabin was nice. AC would be nice but there are lots of fans. Mosquitoes were abundant but that’s all part of the experience. Neighbor was nice enough to let us use his boat landing since there isn’t a public landing.

Just what we needed

This location is perfect! House is well maintained and has everything you need for your stay, literally. We enjoyed kayaking along with plenty of fishing, abidance of bluegill and small mouth. Having a coffee by the lake is an absolute delight. During the summer times, make sure you tolerate the mosquitos, it's wild!!! I would come back in the fall, the colors of the leaves changing must be an astonishing view.
