"My experience was a perfect match for my needs while in Rhinebeck. The apartment was well appointed, clean and new. I was very pleased with the situation but it was a bit small and would be best for one and not two people. The pipes were noisy when using the water but it wasn’t a big issue. You can hear the people walking around upstairs as well. Overall a very good stay and very reasonable. The owners were awesome! "

If you're looking for a quiet and private place for a long weekend, this is a great option. The town of Shokan is super tiny and has very few dining and/or grocery options, so you'd have to head to Woodstock, Kingston or Phoenicia for legit breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinking options, but all are just a 15-25 minute drive away. "

We loved the location, which felt very out-of-the-way but was also only twenty minutes from town. Seeing all of the farm animals and the very friendly barn cat was a plus!"
