"Perfect location for our half way stop on NC 500 so glad we had sunshine as the roads to the cottage would be challenging in bad weather. We did try to drive down to the beach for sunset but missed the turning and ended up stuck behind a herd of cows. It was good to light a fire have a drink and warm up a pizza. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but we forgave it because everything else was so good ( and we do usually sleep on king size vspring which is difficult to match away from home) "

"The property is clean and has many amenities available for you to use. The property needs a little bit of TLC but otherwise it is a perfect base for some of the things along the NC 500. However Nikki is a brilliant host and was very responsive to messages too I would highly recommend Worth a Look for food although it closes at 7pm"

"Zuerst waren wir etwas von der abseitige Lage des Hauses und der Siedlung in Rispond. Nach Betreten der Ferienwohnung waren wir aber sehr angenehm überrascht. Leider kamen wir fast nie ins Netz, um Kontakt mit zu Hause in Deutschland aufzunehmen. Der Gastgeber, der uns persönlich begrüßte war sehr freundlich und erklärte uns alles. Wer Natur und Ruhe schätzt, der ist hier richtig. Zudem ist man in wenigen Minuten in Durness."

"Wir hatten dieses Ferienhaus wegen der Lage ausgewählt - der Blick vom Haus auf die Bucht ist wirklich fantastisch, auch den Wasserfall kann man sehen. Zum Strand sind es zu Fuß über ein kleines Sträßchen nur ca. 10 Minuten. Zum Haus gehört ein großer Naturgarten, nebenan weiden einige Schafe, Pferde und Schweine. Hinter dem Grundstück finden sich einige wenige "Cottages" und "Cabins".Die Schlafzimmer sind sehr geräumig, die Betten sehr bequem. Die Küche ist neu und sehr gut ausgestattet, nur...

"Absolutely perfect location, very scenic and quiet. The cabin was cozy, well equipped and the ideal base for exploration of the area. Bed was super comfy, had the best night's sleep and the shower blasted you awake for the day ahead. All in all a brilliant wee find and we'd definitely return.
