Beautiful Seaside House

Rosa's house is just perfect in every way. The location is super convenience to the airport, blue lagoon, and downtown Rekjavik. The neighborhood is safe and parking pad is spacious. The house is super cozy, and spacious at the same time. Rosa supplied the house with everything you can think of to make her guests stay as comfortable as possible. If you visiting Rekjavik, Iceland, I strongly, highly, and absolutely recommend Rosa house. I really believe you are gonna love it!

Excellant Location

Absolutely amazing!!! This is a beautiful and well decorated place. It's not too far from the Keflavik airport, Reykjavik. It's also close to the Blue Lagoon and the Golden Circle. There's also complete privacy on the deck area. I really liked that we could do most of our laundry before going home. I would highly recommend this home to others.

Great House, Quite Neighborhood

This house is conveniently near the airport in a very quiet residential setting. Not far away are grocery stores and dining options. A great local park is just two blocks away. The house is extremely well furnished with a grate eye for detail and interior design. Just a wonderful place to hang out to use as a home base to explore Iceland.

Recommending this house

The house is in a very good location just in between Keflavik airport towards Reykjavik and is located directly on the ocean. I even think being in the house is even better then the description itself. We travelled with our family of 4 including baby. Everything was prepared (baby chair and bed). Kitchen is fully equiped and ready to use (even Salt, Pepper, Oil, Coffee etc.). Many sightseeing points are nearby. We spent one week and did day trips to many sites. We did have a really good time and enjoyed staying there.

Beautiful home

The pictures of this home do not do it justice. Very luxurious and beautiful. Beds so comfortable. Kitchen with any gadget you can need. Bathroom with heated floor and jacuzzi a special touch. I highly recommend this home. Rosa was quick to respond to questions before our trip and offered many suggestions.

Iceland Stay

This little house was very welcoming and well maintained. The owner has spent much time in decorating and making things look pretty. We had some difficulty with the fuse going out in the kitchen when I used the hot water kettle and coffee maker at the same time. However, the owner sent kind, friendly relatives to come and fix the problem. They also helped us figure out how to turn on the TV and the washer, both of which were confusing because so different from what we are used to. The bathroom was very warm because the switch to turn off the heater was broken, but we were ablt to open the window to cool things down. Other than these problems, the house was very pleasant and cozy.

Beautiful house, real wow factor with a homely feel

All of the other reviewers were right. This house is a dream. Rosa was so very helpful with any questions. We went out every day and experienced every type of weather imaginable, from snow to bright sunshine, but whatever the weather, getting back to the house was just lovely. Rosa is definately a wizz at styling the house, it's just so welcoming with everything you need for self catering there and ready to go. Alas, we didn't get to see the northern lights, the moon was full and there was quite a bit of cloud. We will certainly be back, but planning to be there for a no moon few nights. Its a box that we so want to tick. Blue lagoon is right on the doorstep, but secret lagoon is certainly worth the drive too. Hope to come back later in the year, now, Where's my moon phase guide for Iceland....

Lovely place in a great location

The house is beautiful, comfy, warm and very well equipped - the perfect refuge to come home to after a day of walking, sightseeing and exploring the area. The kitchen was especially appreciated (cooking for a group of five was no problem). The area around the house is very nice and quiet, close to the ocean and some walking trails. The airport, the Blue Lagoon and Reykjavik are only a short drive away. We didn’t meet Rosa, but she sent us a lot of information before our trip, responded to all our questions and was very kind and accommodating. When we had some trouble with the gas canister in the house, we called her on the phone and help arrived within minutes. All in all, we had a lovely time and only wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Great and comfortable house

The house is well located just close to the seashore, about midway between the airport and Reykjavik, in a very quiet area. The house is very comfortable, bright, clean and fully equipped. Rosa took care of everything so that we spent a fantastic week there. We highly recommend it for a stay in the region. We were a family of 4 and it was perfect for us.

Clean, comfortable and perfect.

It was really nice to end the day in a place that was a little more relaxed and away from things. It is only about 20 minutes from the capitol, and is a stones throw from the ocean with a fantastic walking/running trail. The hosts are very helpful throughout the process and were very accomodating.
