"Rosevears was a beautiful setting a top the River. The accommodations were satisfactory where the view is the highlight. The reception and dining room is detached from the individual cabins which is a bit of an inconvenience to walk to especially if it's raining, but when the sun is shining the outdoor terrace makes for a most spectacular experience. The staff is so kind and helpful and it is the best place to stay on the river."

"Room was clean but very dated. Bed very uncomfortable. Lounge needs replacing - crumbling vinyl and not very inviting to sit on. Staff were friendly and helpful and pub meal was very good ! Overall a find stay for one night"

"Great location, easy to find, great space for a family or travelling group and room was equipped with everything you could possibly need, staff were pleasant and the whole facility is immaculately kept and presented. We always find the accommodations at big4’s to represent exceptional value for money, and this one exceeded our expectations still."

"Room was a good size, and we were able to park right out the front. Breakfast was lovely, big selection of cereals, yogurt and breads available. Was lovely to have the electric fire going in the room. Clear instructions received on how to use the digital key pad at the front door, and the location of our room. Located close to the CBD. Would happily stay again if visiting Launceston."

"We loved this historic property. It still had all the comforts of a modern facility. The heated blanket was a big hit. The receptionist/manager was very welcoming and helpful with information about Tasmania. It was very clean."

"Apartment was very slavoluka with a well stokced kitchen. Bed was comfy and had such an amazing view. A great bathtub and walk in shower made this stay very welcoming. It was rather susty in places and around windows so not totally prištine, but the main living areas were clean as was the kitchen and bathroom."

"Overall might have been a lovely stay but if you are handed the keys to room 6 turn around forget your money and go elsewhere. Directly on the main road, at the top of the stairs so you join in everyones conversations. Also directly above the noisy doo that enters the building. We had to make door jams with our pizza box to stop our door shaking eberytime the downstairs door opened."

"The only complaint we have is the pillows. Flatter than pancakes. Close to shops and amenities. Apart from the pancake pillows, will stay there again."

"The cabin was clean, the beds comfortable, tea,coffee and milk were provided. Our cabin even had a dishwasher. The gardens are immaculate. The staff are wonderful. I highly recommend getting up before sunrise, walking the few steps down to the river and watching the sun rise over the Tamar River. We really enjoyed our stay there."
