The villa was amazing and in a great location. The owners made you feel as though nothing was to much trouble. The bus service is so easy to get around so we didnt need a car. There are plenty of restaurants in a short walk.

Superb Stay

Wonderful villa, all the amenities you need, truly the best air con ever, help at hand if you needed it. Will defo be back, situated in a very small quaint village with a few restaurants and no brits abroad. Authenticity Greek, cant wait to come back.

Très bon séjour dans cette villa proche de la ville et des petits commerces .Très propre ,très bien équipé,literie très confortable.Panier de bienvenue exceptionnel,frigo rempli , produits de première nécessité en quantité suffisante pour le séjour (papiers toilettes ,saupalin ,pastilles lave vaisselle,lessive …)Bravo c’est très appréciable.Merci pour ce séjour .

Perfekt

Die Villa Elmyra ist wunderschön und hat alles was das Herz begehrt. Die Zimmer sind schön und geräumig und es hat 2 Badzimmer und eine zusätzliche Toilette. Der Pool hat eine perfekte Grösse. Der Aussenbereich ist sehr geräumig mit Tischtennis und Billiard und genügend Liegestühle. Der Kontakt mit dem Host war sehr angenehm und der Kühlschrank bei Ankuft voll mit allem nötigen, zusätzlich zum grossen Geschenkkorb. Einfach nur empfehlenswert. Wir waren 7 Personen (6 Erwachsene und ein 4 Jähriges Kind).

Fantastic Villa

We arrived to a lovely welcome from the owners of the villa who gave us a guided tour of our new home for the next 2 weeks. Very friendly, welcoming and full of local knowledge and information to guide us for our holiday. The villa was full of food when we arrived - a fridge full of delicious food and an amazing hamper too. The villa was amazing, comfortable beds, plenty of space, fully equipped kitchen, super comfortable sun loungers, a huge bbq, great outdoor space and equipped with everything you could possible need. The pool was great with a deep and shallow end for the children. We came in May so the pool was a little chilly at first but it didn’t stop the children diving in at every opportunity. The villa was cleaned once a week with fresh linen and plenty of towels along with beach towels also. The local supermarket, taverns and bus stop into the town were just a short 10 minute walk away up the hill. Again we came slightly out of season so these areas were very quiet and just getting prepared for the tourism but we did use these restaurants a couple of times and they were nice. Taxi company was great with taking us into the town of an evening and collecting us when we were ready to return. Several local beaches around which were also lovely with lots of places to eat, drink and relax. We had a great time as a family of 7 staying in Elmyra Villa. Highly recommended - Thank you 😊

Sehr schöne Villa - zu empfehlen!

Tolle Villa, superschöner Pool, tatsächlich Meerblick vom Balkon aus, unfassbar großzügiger Lebensmittelkorb und reich gefüllter Kühlschrank als Empfang bei Anreise, sehr freundliche Vermieter, sehr sauber, Lage ebenfalls top. Dorfstraße etwas laut, wenn Mopeds durchfahren, Verkehr ist aber überschaubar. Kleine Abnutzungen innerhalb der Villa und niedriger Wasserdruck, aber sollte nicht von der Buchung abhalten. Werden sehr gerne wieder kommen!

Really lovely villa with great outside space.

Loved it. The villa is lovely the pool really private sun beds really comfy. The beds in the villa were super comfy too. Kitchen well equipped. Lovely village with great taverna Staras comfort food and useful supermarket 5 mins away on foot. Would recommend having a car as places like Bali really worth a visit. We were very lucky with the weather last week of October. Lovely holiday all round.

Sehr schöne Villa in nettem Dorf

Sehr schönes, top ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in nettem kleinen Örtchen. Sehr guter Service des Inhabers, freundlicher und zuvorkommender Kontakt. Gerani etwas Abseits der größeren Touristenströme, deshalb nicht überlaufen und offenbar noch normales Dorfleben. Bäckerei, Metzgerei, Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke, nette kleine Lokale auch. Sehr schönes Ziel für Familien oder Freunde, die nicht Pauschal-Stil mögen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Beautiful and immaculate villa in a little gem of a village

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. It is immaculate, and has wonderful facilities- with swimming pool, terraces, pool table and table tennis. The villa is located in a gorgeous village with fantastic, family run tavernas that were outstanding value and on a beautiful setting. The cove at the bottom of the hill is also lovely for a swim - though there are no parasols/loungers. We used the recommended taxi service as well to travel to Rethymno and they were very reliable too. Overall, an exceptional villa.

Sehr gute Unterkunft!

Es passte alles! Zur Begrüßung gab es einen Korb mit allem, was man so benötigt. Auch der Kühlschrank war schon voll. Uns wurde alles genau erklärt. Es fehlte an nichts. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gab es direkt in der Nähe. Es gibt eine wunderschöne Taverne direkt am Meer. Sie war auch nicht zu überfüllt. Es ist nicht zu touristisch. Perfekt!!!

Elmyra Villa Gerani

Die Lage der Villa ist perfekt, grad 2 min von der Hauptstraße Richting Chania oder Rethymno entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten 2 min im Market entfernt oder bei mehr Auswahl Lidl in ca 1,5 km Richtung Rethymno entfernt. Die Villa ein Traum. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Einen herzlichen Empfang durch den Hausverwalter Hr Kosta. Schon im Vorfeld hat man sich nach unsere Ankunftszeiten erkundigt und wir bekamen eine Führung durchs Haus. Ein Willkommenskorb und ein gefüllter Kühlschrank waren „die Kirsche auf der Sahne“. Einfach Badeanzüge an und ab an den Pool. Auch der Vermieter meldete sich noch am selben Tag und erkundigte sich nach uns. Im Ganzen: ein traumhafter Aufenthalt, jeder Cent wert! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Dank an den Vermieter.

perfect for family/friends

We spent two weeks at the amazing villa as a family of 7. This clean and well equipped accommodation offers you enough space and everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Every morning we could enjoy our morning coffee/tee on a spacious and sunny terrace with sea view. Our kids loved the pool and used it almost everyday right after breakfast. The pool table and table tennis were a nice extra, too. We had a warm welcome and were amazed and thankful for the huge welcome basket and a fridge filled with lots of foods to start with. Thanks you, Kostas - a very nice host and always there when you need help. We can totally recommend this villa.

Villa très agréable et accueil au top

La villa est extrêmement agréable et confortable (literie très confortable, cuisine très bien équipée...). Les extérieurs sont également très appréciables avec notamment un vaste salon sous la pergola, une table de ping-pong, une table de billard. La propreté est irréprochable. Mais il faut surtout souligner la qualité des services et l'accueil extrêmement chaleureux du propriétaire : frigo rempli, panier garnie avec des spécialités locales, linge de toilette remplacé au milieu de notre séjour. Enfin, l'accompagnement par l'agence de location était parfait.

Ein sehr schönes Haus!

Wir fanden in Gerani ein ganz tolles Ferienhaus mit einem sehr netten Empfang vor. Im Haus fehlt es an nichts, der Willkommseskorb mit einheimischen Produkten und der gefüllte Kühlschrank waren da noch das i-Tüpfelchen. Alles ist super sauber, die Betten hervorragend. Der tolle Aussenbereich mit Pool, Grill, Billard und Tischtennis hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen und wurden ausgiebig genutzt. Fußläufig sind ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein sehr gutes Restaurant zu erreichen. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minuten in Rethymno. Eine klare Weiterempfehlung!

Amazing stay in Crete

What a fantastic house! The pictures are exactly showing how wonderful this house is. Nice rooms and roomy kitchen with all you need to cook with your family. The outdoor area is truely amazing and a great place where our family hung out during our two week stay. The pool area is the best we`ve seen so far! And the host: absolutely the best! Really friendly greeting at arrival with nice tour of the house. The biggest surprise: they had filled the refrigerator with juice, water, milk etc. + a big basket of fruit + basket of greek specialities! Really nice of them! The small greek city is so nice with baker, supermarket and restaurants. We can highly recommed this amazing house for an amazing greek vacation

Perfect!

The Villa was beautiful and very cozy. The communication with the agency was brilliant, everyone was very friendly and we always got a fast answer. The host welcomed us and gave us a large welcome package with delicacies from Crete. The fridge was already full with food for your first breakfast - what a service! Also it was very clean and we felt very good. Important note: We would recommend to rent a car to explore all the beautiful beaches and places in Crete. Thank you!

Relaxing stay

We just returned from an 8 day stay at the villa and it was perfect. Warm welcome to the villa by the owner showing us around as well as beautiful welcome packages. As it was during the Covid pandemic the villa was also stocked with everything we required to stay safe whilst there. Would return in the future and would highly recommend

Summer at it's best

Very clean and Nice house, you find everything you need in the house on arrival, very Well equiped kitchen you even have a salad spinner now! Thanks to a very kind and helpfull owner who did fill up the fridge with water and local specialties, very Nice surprise!! Special drinkable water tap, Nice and very clean pool, within walking distance you find a bakery, supermarkt, café restaurant, beach.... We did enjoy our stay very much, thank you!

October half term 2019

We booked the villa for a well needed relaxing holiday for our family in the October half term week. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived even though our flight arrived late at night. We were amazed by the villa which had everything you could possibly need for a holiday. Not only that, but there was a substantial welcome package left for us. The villa is well maintained and very clean. We did hire a car but only used it for one shopping trip and to transfer from the airport, finding the local bus service to Rethymno very good. However, the process of collecting the car which was organised through HomeAway was very easy. We would definitely recommend this villa to other people.
