Urlaub Ende Oktober

Das Haus ist einen guten Zustand und sauber. Der Blick ist fabelhaft und der Garten geräumig mit diversen Fruchtbäumen und Kräutern. Das Haus liegt abgeschieden am Rande eines Dorfes auf kargem Boden. Der Verwalter wohnt in einem eigenen Haus nebenan. Auf den benachbarten Grundstücken wird etwas Landwirtschaft betrieben. Die Wachhunde verrichten allabendlich ihre Arbeit und sind bis in die Nachtstunden gut zu hören. 2x wöchentlich kommt eine Reinigungskraft und wechselt auch die Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Wir waren mit 9 Personen im Haus. Ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck sind vorhanden. Leider ist keiner der 3 Tische groß genug für die Anzahl der Schlafplätze (10 pers). Die Stühle im Wohnzimmer müssen dringend neu gepolstert werden. Einige Wasserhähne wackeln. Der Essplatz mit Grill am Pool ist sehr schön. Ausreichend Liegen und Sitzmöglichkeiten im Garten sind vorhanden. Für Aktivitäten außerhalb des Grundstücks ist ein Auto erforderlich. Wir haben die Woche in der Sonne sehr genossen.

Super schöner Urlaub

Urlaub war super schön. In der Villa gibt es alles was man braucht. Sie war super ausgestattet und die Lage war auch sehr schön mit einem wundervollen Ausblick.

Family fun villa with a panoramic sea view

This villa lived up to our expectations. Very clean, comfortable and spacious for the five of us. We had a hire car which I would recommend as shops/bakery/tavernas/beach are a tad too far to walk in the heat. The old town part of Rethymno is a must for excellent dining. The outside space with plenty of loungers and rattan seats was perfect and the pool was great fun along with table tennis. Excellent communication with Valia and the lovely Mrs Maria who welcomed us, thank you. Fantastic holiday, love to return soon.

A lovely Villa in a quiet village not far from Rethymno. A stay with friends enjoyed by all.

The communication with the villa manager Valia was amazing, she could not have done more for us and answered all questions quickly, nothing was too much trouble- thank you. The villa was spotlessly clean and the grounds and pool were very nice. There was a group of us that wanted to get away from it all which ticked those boxes. The Villa is in a very quiet village and walking to the shop/ taverna when the light faces can be a bit hazardous as there isn't much street lightly, I would recommend a car as the taxi into Rethymno is 20E each way. The villa had everything we needed but could do with some more mirrors and more plastic cups/glasses for outside use. The check in and check out was very easy too We all enjoyed our stay.

Schön und praktisch gelegen

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt auf Kreta. Von unserem praktisch und schön gelegenen Haus aus konnten wir recht schnell viele Ziele erreichen. So haben wir jeden Tag etwas spannendes unternommen.

Summer 2021 in villa anemolia

We spend 2 weeks in the House. The pool area is absolutely amazing, its a smaller pool But so nice to have the grass area, the barbecue area and lounge area all combined. We had a really good flow with the Two kitchens, using the lower one for drinks and icecream, Which decreased our trips up and Down the stairs. Clearly the next door anaimals Can be heard, But Its not an issue even for a good nights Sleep. We had a Very vacation in Villa Anemolia and to a family of seven - couple 3 Young adults and 2 preteens it was perfect.

Great customer service & lovely villa

The villa and grounds were immaculate with ample secure parking for 2 cars and it was lovely to have a fridge containing basic provisions. The kitchen was a bit dated but well equipped and functional. The bedrooms were all very nicely furnished and beds very comfortable. The ground floor bedrooms or living area need at least another mirror as the only other mirror apart from the bathroom is in an area of very little natural light. The village of Gerani is a 15 minute walk and has an excellent bakery, taverna and 2 mini markets. We enjoyed our stay, the owner Maria was very friendly and the staff at Think Villas helpful and prompt at dealing with any queries.

A comfortable and convenient villa with outstanding views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this modern and comfortable villa. Inside the accommodation worked perfectly for us with the "youngsters" able to occupy the top floor while we holed up on the ground floor. The kitchen is well equipped and spotless and we enjoyed watching Netflix in air conditioned comfort on our return from various local tavernas. The outside space and pool were also perfect with plenty of seats, enough shade and a pool with a view. We enjoyed the local goat herd, which sometimes climbed up on the garden wall for a closer look. We would definitely recommend the villa and hope to come back one day !

Idyllic and typically Cretan in a wonderfully peaceful location

This property was perfect for families. It’s peaceful and in a village location (Gerani), yet not far from the bustling tourist town of Rethymno. Hiring a car is a must though. The villa is very well equipped and with modern conveniences such as a dishwasher, washing machine, Bluetooth speaker, DVD player and large tv , every room also has air con. The swimming pool is a lovely size and maintained well (cleaned every day) and the garden is also well manicured to a traditional Greek style. The villa overall is clean, bright and in fab condition. You won’t be disappointed if you hire this place for a vacation. The owner Maria goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and left us a very appreciated selection of basics and fresh food. Perfect, because we didn’t arrive until quite late. She also gave us a lovely gift of some home cooking on our last evening. I would recommend obtaining Maria’s phone number if possible because the villa isn’t too easy to find upon first arrival. Once you get your bearings, it’s not a problem though. The beach bar/restaurant a kilometre down the road is defo worth a visit 😉

Glorious Gerani!

We had a fantastic 2 wk stay at Villa Anemolia. Owner - Mrs Maria - went above and beyond to make us most welcome, throughout our stay. Loved the local village. We were made feel at home and were exceptionally well treated. Would go back in a minute! Only niggle was lack of ventilation in basement bathroom - which caused a bit of a smell. Pool tiles also very slippery but may be due to the displaced water resulting from all the pool fun!!

Fantastic stay in Crete!

We had a great stay, the Villa is spotless and furnished very tastefully. Everything had been thought of and the groceries in the fridge were really appreciated as was the ability for a late checkout. We had a fantastic week and wished it could of been longer. Could not recommend enough! Many thanks
