Rethymno Villa

Wonderful Villa, quite remote and quite but just what we were looking for. Fully met all our expectations and only 10 mins back down the hill into the Old Town for numerous wonderful local Restaurants. Very Central to the island and for easy access to all. Fantastic vista.

Wundervolle Volla in absoluter Alleinlage

Sehr netter Empfang, guter Kontakt auch während des Aufenthalts mit sehr netten Tips zu Insel und Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist luxuriös und großzügig eingerichtet, Elektrogeräte sind state of the art. Wir kommen gerne wieder, dann aber vielleicht mit einem etwas göherem Fahrzeug, die Strecke den Hügel hinauf ist ein wenig "bumpy" aber problemlos befahrbar.

Halepa Hill, Rethimno, Crete

Had an absolutely lovely time for our 1st visit to Crete. If we won the lottery this would be our ideal home, we could never tire of the views. We were made to feel very welcome our only regret is that we could only stop a week. The villa is just as per the photos and great for a large or small group. There is an unpaved road to get to and from the villa but you can still be within the centre of Rethimno within 15 minutes.

Incredible views and attentive hosts

We were 3 generations and the house had something for everyone. Kids loved the pool with a deep end and diving board and grandparents enjoyed having lots of places to sit and take in the amazing views. My personal highlight was cooking rotisserie chickens on the huge bbq. Being up on a hill meant we could escape the heat and the sea breeze made being out in the sunshine a real pleasure. Our hosts were attentive and gave plenty of warning for when cleaners would be coming in during our stay. All in all a wonderful holiday and certainly somewhere we would love to return to again!

Grosszügiges Haus mit traumhaftem Blick

Das Haus ist toll und hat einen traumhaften Blick, sehr abgelegen, aber gut erreichbar. Man ist in 10 Minuten in der wirklich hübschen Alt-Stadt, benötigt aber unbedingt ein Auto. Wir wurden persönlich und zuverlässig von Kostas und Anna-Maria empfangen, sogar mit Blumen zur Goldenen Hochzeit, das war sehr lieb! Obwohl der Pool sehr kalt war (Ende Oktober, bewölkt und windig) waren die Kinder viel drin und wir haben die Lounge-Ecke total genossen! Das Grillhaus mit dem Pizza-Ofen ist der Hammer und so gemütlich!! Alles war super sauber, gut ausgestattet und es gab nach 5 Tagen sogar eine Zwischenreinigung und neue Handtücher. Wir haben uns in Nina verliebt, Kostas Hund im Zwinger nebenan, die immer auf uns achtete.

Bester Blick auf Rethymno und die Küste

Das Haus liegt am Ende der Straße ganz oben auf dem Hügel in ruhiger und abgeschiedener Lage. Das Areal ist groß und bietet genügend Platz für große Gruppen, um einen traumhaften, gemeinsamen Urlaub zu verbringen, aber verfügt auch über mehrerre kleinere Winkel, in die man sich zurückziehen kann und seine Ruhe hat. Ein Auto ist für den Aufenthalt allerdings obligatorisch. Die Inneneinrichtung und der Außenbereich sind besser, als sie auf den Fotos erscheinen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und verfügt über Geschirrspüler, Herd, Ofen, Mikrowelle und Waffeleisen. Der Pool ist deutlich größer als in vergleichbarne Häusern und kann sowohl zum Planschen als auch zum Schwimmen genutzt werden. Das Haus wird ca. 2 Mal pro Woche gereinigt und ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wenn wir das nächste Mal nach Kreta fahren, werden wir sicherlich wieder kommen.

Wonderful property, amazing views, great owners!

Wonderful place to stay for a bigger group or family. Secluded but still reasonably easy to access. Amazing view overlooking the ocean and a superb standard on the facilities. A very good choice for a calm and secluded vacation. The pool area was the best! Being both close to town (just a 10 minute drive) and to the southern part of Crete (just a 30 minute drive) it is the perfect place for combining excursions and town trips. Finally, note that the family offering the house was very friendly and always there for everything we needed them. They even advised us on places to eat (we fell in love with Galera Restaurant) and took us and the children for a walk close to the farm near the house. I definitely suggest you come to this place, it can't let you down.

Fantastic property, unforgettable experience!

f you are looking for a super comfy place for quality time holidays, it is Halepa Hill! The house is spacious, fully equipped (even beauty products are available!). There are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, big common area with smart Tv, spacious and fully equipped kitchen and even a laundry room! The outdoor huge space is also impressive: with perfect swimming pool, amazing views, BBQ area equipped with fridge and sink and lot of space for our children to play! But the best thing of being a guest in this villa is the feeling that you are a part of a family! The owners and the manager could not be more responsive, polite and helpful! We were give lots of tips : where to eat, where to go, what to do! The tailor made app was also useful! And what also should be underlined; when we arrived homemade delicacies and sweets were provided! We will definitely come back!
