Excellent villa.

Excellent villa lots different areas in sun and shade. Very modern, beds comfortable and a large garden full of various fruit trees. Owners were very nice and helpful. Definitely going there again.

Beautiful villa

Just lovely, prefect size for 6 adults and spotlessly clean. Outside area was the highlight, sitting around the large pool or having a bbq. The ground and gardens added to the privacy. Quiet location and never felt overlooked. Some fantastic restaurants around too. One point a car really is needed but the local taxis were very reasonable if we wanted to ditch the car for the evening. Thank you Maria

We hebben een prachtige vakantie gehad in deze fantastische villa. Alles perfect geregeld door Mrs. Maria en Homeaway, complimenten! Villa is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Een huurauto is wel aan te bevelen, ritje met de taxi naar Rethymon koste EURO 12. Fam. Heerink, Nederland

Just returned from a 2 week stay at this amazing villa, the property is in an amazing location, the photos really don’t do the villa justice, amazing gardens and pool and the villa itself is kept spotless. Maria is always on hand if you where to have any problems, and after a delayed flight and not getting to the villa till very late to be greeted with a unbelievable welcome pack was very nice and appreciated touch. The villa is in a peaceful location but still only a 10 min drive to all the restaurants and bars in Rethymno.

Fantastic villa - beautiful outside and inside living

We have just returned home from a fantastic week here. Maria (the owner) was so welcoming / helpful and we also really appreciated the fantastic gifts of fresh fruit, drinks and snacks on arrival. The villa cannot be faulted - lovely decor, spotlessly clear and is very well equipped. The area is peaceful and relaxing, but is also very close to amenities and restaurants too. The sandy beaches on the way to Chania and on the south of the island are particularly beautiful. We had great meals out and enjoyed BBQs at the villa too. One week was just not long enough!

Wow ..... what an amazing time we had!

Staying at Maria's villa was a fantastic experience. The villa is beautiful, clean and even better than the photographs can capture. Maria and her family were so helpful and kind. We would definatley love to come back to stay here again but would hire a car next time as it is in a quite rural area. There is a little supermarket that can be walked to which takes about 20 mins but the Lidl and restaraunts are a hilly drive away. We knew there was a bus stop close but did not try this. We would definately recommend this villa ....... simply beautiful!

Beautiful house

The house, garden and pool area are beautiful and Maria, the landlady, and her family are just lovely and looked after us so well. One thing, though: you will definitely need a car to get to a beach and the nearest resort, unless you like walking for at least 35 mins (one way) on roads or a rough path. The one thing you can reach quite quickly (and which is very practical!) is a well-stocked Mini Market. Apart from that, though, we absolutely recommend the property and would definitely go again!

Tolles Haus, super-freundlichen Gastgeberin

Ein tolles Haus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, das tatsächlich mindestens so schön ist, wie in den Fotos gezeigt. Alles makellos sauber, sehr gute Ausstattung, es hat uns (Familie mit zwei Kindern) an nichts gefehlt. Maria, die Gastgeberin, hat uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und auch schon eine Basis-Ausstattung an Getränken und Lebensmitteln für uns bereit gelegt. Besonderes Highlight war für uns der Obstgarten, aus dem wir jeden Morgen unseren Orangensaft frisch pflücken durften. Ein Auto ist nötig, wir fanden Google Maps ausserdem extrem hilfreich, denn unser Navi konnte leider mit den Kretischen Straßennamen nicht viel anfangen. Vielen, vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wunderschöne Villa

Wir haben uns in dieser Villa sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Villa bot ausreichend Platz für eine Familie mit 4 Teenagern. Wunderschöne gepflegte riesige Außenanlage mit Pool und Obstbäumen, hier durften Granatäpfel, Mandarinen und Orangen frisch vom Baum gepflückt werden. Besonders herzlicher Empfang durch die Eigentümerin Maria. Im Kühlschrank warteten gekühlte Getränke wie Softdrinks, Wein und Bier, frisches Obst und Gebäck in einer Schale. So herzlich wurden wir noch nie begrüßt!!!! Die Villa war blitzsauber und es fehlt an nichts, wir würden hier sofort wieder Urlaub buchen, sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Great villa with all that you could wish for!!

We had a great stay in Villa Periklis. The owners were very kind and helpfull. The villa itself was wonderful, with everything you could wish for. The BBQ area was our favorite spot to spend many hours in the evening, having great diners and board games. Inside and outside, the property was spotless clean and well maintained. The orchard was great and we could pick our own fruit like pomegranate, oranges and lemon. The garden was maintained every day to keep it beautiful as it is. The fence around the property is great for families with small children. Going outside, the beach is really nearby. We visited several restaurants. Two of them I would recommend: Taverna Fantastico with its wonderfull view and Alekos in Armeni. The latter one serves real local food without a menu. Rethymno is recommended for a nice town visit. Also Arkadi Monestry is a visit worthwhile. Would definitely recommend this villa.

Amazing holidays, sehr schöner Urlaub

Great villa, amazing pool and garden with fresh fruits. Very friendly and hospitable owner. It was just a perfect stay in this object. Our kids didn't want to leave the pool anymore. The way to the beach is not too far and so no problem. We will come back again one time!!!
