We had a wonderful two-week stay at the villa, enjoying a perfect mix of lazy days by the pool and exploring local beaches and sights with our rental car. The villa itself was spacious, spotless, and offered plenty of privacy, making it an ideal family retreat.A short walk took us into the nearby village, which felt authentically local and featured well-stocked supermarkets, a charming bakery, and a great selection of restaurants. Just a short drive away, we found a beautiful long sandy beach lined with small, welcoming tavernas—perfect for relaxing afternoons.Overall, it was a peaceful and memorable holiday, and we’d happily return.

Der Service war einfach erstklassig – besser geht es wirklich kaum! Die Villa liegt in einem idyllischen Dorf, das mit seinem Charme und den wunderschönen Tavernen zum Verweilen einlädt. Wer Erholung in authentischer Umgebung sucht und gleichzeitig Wert auf exzellenten Service legt, ist hier genau richtig. Absolute Empfehlung!

A very pleasant week at Villa Emma! Everything was great and the contact with agent was perfect. Great with walking distance to super markets, bakery and restaurants. Nice music from conserts in village reached the villa by night!Best beach 10 minutes from villa by car - Episkopi Beach!We really recommend this villa for families looking for a nice and relaxing holiday!/Two swedish families with 4 teenagers

Great villa with all Equipment you need

+ nice villa, good sevice, welcome presents, - during the night works a pump to water the garden. For us it was to loud to sleep.

Ihana huvila

Huvila oli todella mukava, tilava ja siisti, paljon rappusia joten ei ihan huonojalkaisille, ihana piha ja allas alue. Sisäänkirjautuminen ja viestittely omistajan ja assistentin kanssa sujui loistavasti. Huvila on aika korkealla josta hienot näkymät merelle ja kylään, ravintolat ja kauppa kävelymatkan päässä. Helppo liikkua taksilla esim. Rethymnoniin. Suosittelemme huvilaa, aivan loistava paikka lomailuun

Even better than the photos!

A fantastic villa with plenty of space for the family. Great having two reception rooms to allow for quiet reading and movies! Pool was too cold to swim at this time of year but a lovely outside space anyway. We ate out every day - sadly Staras was closed but the other taverna did good basic Greek food. Lovely restaurants in Rethymno and further afield. Evmorfia was very helpful. A great central location to visit Crete from!

Lovely location but you need a car

I’ve just returned from an amazing stay at Villa Emma. The property is spacious and well furnished with a really nice pool. I would really recommend having a car while you are there. The “walkable” beach is a pebble beach and not that great for swimming. Episkopi beach is much nicer but is a drive away. The village of Gerani which is walkable is vibrant with nice restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a bakery plus a couple of supermarkets which were well stocked. Rethymno town which is fully of restaurants, bars, etc. is a great day out but is also a drive away. All in all we had a lovely holiday and would definitely recommend staying there.

Huoneisto oli tilava, laadukas, mukava ja sijainti oli upea. Makuuhuoneissa oli ilmastointi ja sängyt olivat mukavia. Geranin kylä oli viehättävä ja paikalliset ravintolat (ja leipomo!) fantastisia. Seutu oli rauhallista. Huvilalta on myös lyhyt matka National Roadille ja sitä pitkin esim. Rethymnoniin. Uima-allas oli sopivan kokoinen ja allas-alue miellyttävä. Palaisin tänne milloin vain!

Great stay

We stayed here for one week with 4 children (8,12,15,16) and we really enjoyed it. Easy arrival, easy communication, the pool is great - the house is beautiful and spacoius, and located in a lovely and cute little village. We ate 2 times at the restaurant in town, Staras and they were very friendly and nice food. You need a car to get around, and there are many great beaches nearby. I can really recommend this beautiful and lovely house. We also drove to Lake Kourna a few times and had so much fun. BR Tanja Graven, DK

Urlaub in Kreta Gerani

Sehr schönes Haus wir hatten viel Platz ,super war der Pool unser kinder haben hatten viel spaß. Wir konnten jederzeit Kontakt mit der Vermieterin aufnehmen wenn wir fragen hatten und sie hat immer versucht zu helfen. Sauberes und sehr schönes Haus gerne wieder. Vielen Dank Evmorfia Tzagkara

Sehr schöne Villa

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und sind sehr zufrieden gewesen. Auf Grund der Lage wird auf jeden Fall ein Auto benötigt. Das einzige Manko ist die Dusche im kleinen Bad, diese ist ohne Duschtür/Vorhang, somit ist nach jedem duschen das komplette Bad inkl. Tiolette total nass.

een geweldige vakantie met grote kinderen

We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw. Zij heeft het hele huis laten zien en veel informatie gegeven over wat er in de omgeving te zien is. We waren met 5 kinderen in de leeftijd van 17 tot 25 jaar. Zij hebben zich enorm geamuseerd met het zwembad. De bedden waren prima. Fijn dat er na 3 dagen werd gepoetst en de bedden verschoond en schone handdoeken neergelegd. Het hele huis was goed schoon. We hebben een fijne vakantie gehad.

Amazing villa!

The villa was gorgeous! It was so spacious and nicely decorated. The pictures don't do justice to it - it's even better in nature. The pool area and the yard were nice! There are lots of deck chairs for sunbathing, but also sunshades if you want to stay in the shadows. There is sea view from the balcony - a perfect place to eat breakfast, dinner etc! I recommend to have a car, so you can easily visit in Gerani and other places in Crete. Evmorfia is really nice and she gave all useful information about Crete and places worth to visit. She can also help to organize things you want to do, for example cruises. We had some problems during our stay (not with the villa) and she was really really helpful with them too.

Stunning Villa, quiet location

We are a family of five with 3 teenagers, 14-16 years of age. On arrival into Chania Airport we called Ellen who kindly met us off the motorway at Gerani and guided us to the villa, she gave us a tour of the villa and provided us with some delicious treats. The villa is absolutely stunning, very spacious and well furnished throughout, beautiful views from every angle, kitchen is well equipped, it could benefit from some BBQ utensils and small saucepans however we did manage without. The village is traditional and very quiet, it has 2 basic supermarkets within 10 mins walking distance, however if you travel 3-4 miles towards Rethymno you will find a very well stocked Lidl. We enjoyed fantastic food at Staras restaurant on three occasions and found another on our last night called Meraklis, this restaurant is more basic and casual but the service and the food was also fantastic and half the price of Staras. This villa would suit couples, groups and families with small children, however our teenagers did get bored due to the location, we would definitely return again minus the kids 😁

Amazing Villa with everything you need

Great stay for our family. The hostess was gracious to accommodate our late arrival and left delicious treats for us to eat that evening. The pool was a hit with the kids and provided hours of playtime for them.

Even better than the photos

7 of us stayed here for 4nights to celebrate our 30th birthdays and we loved it! The villa is so spacious, the pictures didn't do it justice, the views were stunning and the little village was lovely, so traditionally greek! We were out of season so only 2tavernas of the 4 were open and we ate all our meals at 'Meraklis' the owner was lovely, food delicious and I dont think we paid more than €15pp for alot of food and wine each meal! The walk to the sea is about 20mins down hill and the shuttle bus from outside the supermarket in the village runs to Rethymnon every 2hours starting at 8am and from there you can also get a coach to Chania. Ezmorvia was really helpful and arranged our transfers from Heraklion airport which was about an hour away and less than €40 each return and she met us at the property and gave us a tour. We all loved the villa and area, if you're looking for a chilled out holiday in a traditional greek area it's perfect.

Traumurlaub auf Kreta

Wir haben 10Tage in dieser Traumhaften Villa verbracht und der Service ist wirklich überragend. An einem Tag wurde für uns gekocht und die Sauberkeit wurde hier sehr groß geschrieben. Die Agentur bietet auch einen Top Service an und man merkt das ihnen wichtig ist, dass die Gäste sich wohlfühlen.Jeder Zeit würden wir diese Villa nochmal mieten und sie weiterempfehlen.
