A great welcome from Poly, the owner, to help us relax and get into the holiday mood right from the beginning. She was always on hand to help throughout our stay too. Thank you Poly! You will definitely need a car, although it is only a short drive to all the villages and towns in the area for a nice taverna or aome shopping. Numerous beaches - although our absolute favourite was Skinaria, about a 45 minute drive to the south - the journey alone is worth it through the mountains and gorge.

Everything exceeded our expectations

My wife and I recently spent an incredible 5 days in Rethymno, and we couldn’t be happier with our stay at this villa! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The villa is spacious, beautifully designed, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The attention to detail was outstanding, and the high-quality finishes made it feel like a true home away from home. The outdoor space was one of the highlights—the pool was crystal clear and very inviting (though if I had one small complaint, I would have loved it if the water were heated). The surrounding gardens added to the peaceful, relaxing vibe. We enjoyed leisurely breakfasts on the patio, soaking up the warmth of the morning sun preparing for our daily adventures (there is so much to do!). Our host, Poly, was beyond fantastic. She was always available when we needed her, offering great recommendations for beaches and restaurants, while also respecting our privacy. You can really tell she’s passionate about making her guests feel comfortable and ensuring everything runs smoothly. The ThinkVillas team, especially Valia, made the booking process easy and was quick to assist when needed. If there’s one thing we could change, it’s that our time here flew by too quickly! We left feeling refreshed and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend this villa to anyone seeking a peaceful and luxurious retreat!

Unforgettable!

Staying in Rethymnon at Levantes Luxury Villa was the best decision we took! The villa is breathtaking! Mrs Poly the owner is a talented interior designer and the villa is decorated with great taste and is provided with ultimate comfort. The villa is nice and sparkly clean and smells of fresh coton. Beds are very comfortable, pool clean and refreshing and the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. The house is fully equipped with more equipment than you can think of! From its location we found it easy to access principal amenities as well as main unmissable Crete attractions. Every little detail was thought of to make us feel like kings and queens. Upon our arrival, Mrs Poly greeted us with warmth and great hospitality. She provided us with well appreciated tips and cues and helped us organize some of our activities and was spot on. This villa played a great part in the unforgettable feeling of our trip and I can’t stress enough how good a choice it was for us to stay there. It felt great to come home in this warm, beautiful and breathtaking villa after all of our outings. Crete is a dazzling and legendary place with heartwarming people and Levantes Luxury villa was no exception. We once again extend warm thanks to Mrs Poly for her exceptional hospitality and great generosity. This villa is no doubt your best choice in entire Crete! We would give it ten stars if it were possible.

Wir haben herrliche Ferientage hier in dieser schönen Villa erleben dürfen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Mrs. Polly ist eine äußerst herzliche ‚Gastgeberin‘ deren Tipps wir gerne angenommen haben. Wichtig ist ein Mietwagen, um alle Orte leicht erreichen zu können.

Outstanding villa and host

We have just returned from a fabulous 10 days in Crete, we enjoyed every moment and couldn't have asked for more from the villa or from our host Poly. The villa is spacious, very well equipped and beautifully presented, everything is finished to a very high standard. The villa is set in pretty gardens, the pool is clean and inviting, the sun decks, the BBQ, the outside dining areas are all attractive and fully equipped, it is all absolutely lovely. Poly our host was extremely helpful but also very discreet, we only saw her when we specifically needed to, but knew she was on hand when needed (only a couple of times for minor things) Communication with the ThinkVillas team who manage the booking was easy and Valia was very helpful as well. I have only one issue and that is the description "car-free holiday" this is not accurate. The villa is a 30-minute walk from the nearest shops and tavernas and the return journey is up hill all the way, it can be done but not easily, especially when carrying shopping. Rethymno is a ten-minute drive from Prines village, the idea that you could walk to the beach is entirely inaccurate. You absolutely DO NEED A CAR. All said and done, Lavantes is wonderful.

Absolutely wonderful!!

We have just had one of our most memorable, relaxing, beautiful holidays ever, in Villa Levantes. The space is so perfectly designed — every room is a pleasure to spend time in, every patio and terrace has its own charm. Throughout the day, the sunshine plays wonderfully through the villa and garden (which is filled with gorgeous plants and trees, lemon, fig, olive and pomegranate). We thoroughly enjoyed spending many of our mornings or whole days in the villa and garden/pool and found fantastic new restaurants in Prines Village or Rethymno during the evenings, we just can’t fault it and we can’t wait to go back! Poly has achieved something incredibly special here, an absolute delight. Thank you, Poly!

Wunderschönes Haus mit tollem Ambiente und sehr gutem Service

Die Erwartungen an das Haus wurden mehr als erfüllt. Das Haus war im perfekten Zustand, wunderschön und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und strahlt dadurch eine große Gemütlichkeit aus. Alles war sehr sauber und im guten Zustand. Auch die Aussstatuung der Küche ließ keine Wünsche offen. Polly, die die Betreuung vor Ort übernommen hat, hat sich sehr nett gekümmert und uns bei allen Fragen unterstützt. Sie hat tolle, lokale Restauranttipps und Ausflugsvorschläge. Außerdem hat sie uns zweimal in der Woche mit Service im Haus verwöhnt und mit kleinen Leckereien überrascht. Es war das beste Ferienhaus mit dem besten Service, das wir je hatten.

Fantastic

Levantes is a lovely home to stay in with both Valia (Think Villa) and property owner Poly were keen to make our stay in Crete an enjoyable one. Nothing was too much trouble for Poly- who very kindly returned an item to us here in UK. Taking the time to arrange courier to do so. I would recommend Think Villa and most definitely Poly’s home to stay in.

A fabulous place to stay and a great location to explore some of the island.

We were a group of 8 (2 adults and 6 teenage children), we all loved this villa and Poly made us feel at home with her friendly helpful advice on restaurants and beaches to visit. The villa is large and comfortable to accommodate the large group and the local village has all essential food shops is just a few minutes drive away. All in all we loved our Greek experience in Crete this year. Highly recommended!

Stunning villa in a quiet location, perfect family holiday!

From the moment we arrived, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this stunning villa set in the small village of Prines. The owner, Poly, was waiting to greet us and we received a very warm welcome with bottles of iced water and chilled wine. She showed us around the villa, and informed us about the local area.The villa was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. It has been very tastefully designed, is modern, light, airy and spacious. The bedrooms were very comfortable with crisp white linen. Poly changed the sheets and towels for us halfway through our week stay. We were a party of 6, parents, grandparents and 2 children, aged 12 and 16. The pool was such a bonus and we cooled off in it during the heat of the day, before and after returning from a day trip. Poly came early in the morning each day to clean the pool. During our stay we visited Rethymno a few times (10-15 mins drive from the villa). We learnt quickly to either set off early or head out much later in the early evening to avoid the intense heat of the day. Rethymno is a lovely historic old town with lots of little cobbled streets with small shops, tavernas/restaurants, pretty churches and old buildings. The place really comes to life in the evening. We would recommend 'Raki Ba Raki' to eat, delicious food and set in a pretty little street shaded by beautiful vines and flowers. Poly also recommended a local family restaurant in the next village 'Gonia'. She kindly rang ahead and reserved a table for us. The restaurant 'Androulidakis' served traditional Cretan cuisine and we received a very warm welcome. Family run, Marianna the owner was really lovely and offered advice on how to get the most out of the menu between us. The food was delicious with very generous portions! We took some of our food home and ate it the next day! In fact everywhere we ate, the portions were very generous and very good value for money. We also visited the historic old town of Hania which was about an hours drive away. It was beautiful and the venetian harbour was stunning. A real treat was heading to a very secluded little cove on the south coast where greek families go to swim. The scenery was breathtaking. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and could have easily stayed longer. Poly's warm and generous hospitality really made our holiday; with fresh figs from her garden and a home made cake for our children. Valia at Think Villa was also extremely helpful. Wholeheartedly recommended!

A week in Paradise

we came to Levates Villa in Prines for a family holiday with 6 adults. The villa was absolutely wonderful. High quality, well equipped and well layed out. The owner Mrs Polly was a delight, with lots of tips for restaurants and even driving us into town for one evening. Rethymno is 5KM away and is wonderful and the Villa is beautifully positioned to explore the fabulous Crete Coastline. The villa company helped us to organize a boat trip and booked a fabulous restaurant in rethymno for our daughters 25th birthday. We have stayed in a number of villas, but for luxury equipment and friendliness this is just about the best and we would highly recommend it. Thank you Valia for all your help and thank you Mrs Polly we loved it.

Amazing villa the pictures do not do it justice

Polly is an amazing host she could not do enough for us to make our stay as memorable as possible. When we arrived she was there to greet us with a smile and a bottle of wine which went down very well, the next morning she came to visit us and just to check that we had settled in okay she brought with her a home made lemon cake for my son which he joyed very much. When we arrived and started looking round the Villa I was absolutely amazed as the pictures do not do it justice. The villa is much larger inside and out than you would think by looking at the photos, the Villa was immaculately clean and Polly even came during the week to change the beds and towels, the garden area and pool was cleaned every day. I highly recommend this villa and I’m looking forward to returning soon as a week just wasn’t long enough Thank you so much for opening up your home to us we had an amazing time and look forward to seeing you soon.

The omens were good from the moment we decided on the booking, with lots of helpful information in advance from the very responsive agents, Think Villa. Despite a very late arrival, we were met by the owner, Poly, who could not have been more helpful. Her background in interior design was well-reflected in a beautifully presented but welcoming home to borrow, with plenty of light and space, inside and out. Poly herself came early every two days to clean the pool and outside areas, which were always sparkling, and maintain the gardens and range of interesting trees. She was very attentive without being intrusive and a great source of ideas for local restaurants, shops and places to visit. Despite our range of needs and views of how we wanted to spend our time (two grandparents with two older teenage grandchildren) we had the space and facilities to keep everyone relaxed and comfortable. The villa met our preference for a quieter, higher vantage point with some views, while being within easy reach of the east-west National Highway and a good road through the central mountains to the stunning south coast of the island. Turned out to be an excellent decision to book a short-notice late summer break and we thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Crete, managing to get plenty of time to relax while still seeing a lot of the island. Everywhere we went, people were friendly and helpful (no evidence of 'tourism-fatigue' here!) - an attitude exemplified by the welcome we received from our Owner.
