Magnifique villa très propre. Nos hôtes sont facilement joignables et très gentils. Très réactifs en cas de problème. Seul petit bémol la piscine un peu trop chlorée et peut être la cuisine à moderniser.

Very lovely family that own it. The house and garden are very nice. You will need a car to stay here as it’s up so very steep hills but in a very beautiful location! Very easy check in as owner will meet you there to explain everything and answer any questions as well as check out process. Kitchen is quite a small space but you also have a bbq area outside which is lovely. Bedrooms all very nice and clean. We had a clean mid stay, we were expecting just basic clean but it was given a very good clean. We as a family have all agreed we would definitely stay again

Very nice house with spacious rooms. Two good bathrooms - one guest toilet with possibility to shower. Beautiful garden and nice pool area. There is a nice BBQ grill with some outdoor furniture close by. However, we preferred to eat at the main terrace which is much nicer and has a beautiful seaview. The house was very clean and the hosts very friendly and accommodating.

Great Memories Here

This home was lovely. Hosts live on the property so we saw a lot of them. The home had pretty much everything we wanted for our second trip to Crete. There was more than enough room for the four of us. It was close to beaches, tavernas, supermarkets, shopping, but it was very private and peaceful.

Beautiful and well kept property, better than expected. Excellent pool and accommodations. Owners were great, met us in town and led us to property, responded quickly to our every need. Located in a central area of Crete making it easy to see and plan activities. The owners gave excellent advice. Have stayed at multiple VRBO properties, this was one of the best.

The perfect family getaway

The most beautiful setting and wonderful home for the week. Stratianna and her family made us feel at home all week and nothing was too much trouble. The Villa is spacious and absolutely immaculate and clean. The gardens are beautiful. So peaceful. Just a few minutes drive from Rethymno, which is perfect for meals/nights out and shopping/Old Town are fab. We’ll be back as soon as we can!

Einfach super

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem wunderbaren Haus sehr genossen. Es ist sehr zentral gelegen, so dass man an vielen verschiedenen Stränden an der Nord- und Südküste baden kann. Auch als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen eignet sich das Haus wunderbar. Die Vermieter sind unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen.

Amazing

Absolutely amazing stay. We loved our 10 days in Prines. Beautiful villa with plenry of space for our 4 adults and 3 children. Marina, strattiana and vissilas couldnt of been more helpful. I would highly reccomend this villa for a chilled out quiet stay with the local village about 15/20 mins walk. 3 really good Tavernas to choose from. Thanks for a great stay. Nolan

Beautiful villa in the quiet of the countryside

Villa Deleni is lovely, the photos don’t do it justice. Tastefully decorated, all the bedrooms have lots of space and storage, well equipped kitchen and private pool area in beautiful well maintained gardens. You definitely need a car here but you can easily walk into Prines for a couple of nice tavernas. 10 minutes by car away from some lovely beaches to the West and only 15 mins from Remythno. We had a lovely stay with the whole family and the children’s area of the pool was perfect for our three year old son. Stratianna was very helpful and checkin and check out was easy and straight forward. Would definitely recommend.

Just beautiful!

This holiday was everything I hoped it would be. Yes, the villa is out of the way and a car is probably essential for seeing the island, but that was part of its charm. Woke up to sea views and the sound of nothing but birds and insects and the occasional jingle of bells on the sheep. We took a walk up to the nearest village of Prines a few days to pick up some essentials; a pleasant 15/20 minute walk through Greek countryside where we usually stopped for a coffee or lunch in one of the local taverna (Veranda). The villa is very comfortable and well-equipped with beautifully tended gardens. The barbecue area was great for sitting out at night and, on the cooler evenings, the lounge area is very comfortable. The bedrooms too had very comfortable beds and there were enough bathrooms to go round the family groups. Stratianna and her family were very welcoming and responded to any queries when asked. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to anyone. I hope we can get back some day.

Summer Vacation 2022

We had a great time in August. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. The house itself is very nice and from arrival to departure everything was just perfect. There is two small shops and some good restaurant in Prines (walking distance). Bigger supermarkets and very nice beaches can be reached just in within minutes with the car. Overall Crete is absolutely worth a visit and there is a lot to see.

Wunderschöne Villa der Familie Davis. Die Familie Davis wohnt nahe der Villa, weshalb sie schnell da sind falls was sein sollte. Das Haus liegt weit außerhalb, weshalb man seine Ruhe genießen kann und die zwei Nachbarn in der Nähe sind nicht zu hören oder sehen. Die Ausstattung ist für 8 Personen vollkommen ausreichend. In der Nähe (ca.10min Laufweg) ist ein kleiner Supermarkt in dem man das wichtigste bekommt. Super Haus und sehr freundliche Gastgeber.

Wonderful!

We’re recently back from a wonderful 2 week stay at Villa Deleni with my husband and 2 boys. The villa is beautiful, very clean, nicely decorated and well laid out with wonderful views. The grounds are fabulous and the pool is a good size- it was cleaned everyday too. The location of the villa is ideal if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and rural but within a short distance to facilities. It’s about 10-15 mins drive into Rethymno but the local village of Prines is a 10 minute walk with a few tavernas, mini market and pharmacy. More facilities can be found in Atsipopolou about 1km further down the hill from Prines where we did most of our shopping. Stratianna, Marina and Vasilis were lovely hosts and on hand to help with any questions. Thank you for the delicious home made orange pie and ice cream Stratianna! We had a fabulous, relaxing time, in gorgeous surroundings and hope to be back in the future. Highly recommend!

Relaxing and enjoyable holiday for extended family

Three generations of my family and partners gathered at this beautiful property for ten nights. Marina and Vasilis patiently answered our many enquiries and directed us towards excellent places of interest, beaches and restaurants. They went out of their way to help us celebrate our daughter's 30th birthday. The property is in excellent condition and very spacious so we had plenty of room to spread out. The high quality WiFi allowed my daughter's partner to work while he was here. This property offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting a wonderful holiday for the whole family.

Our 8 days stay in this Villa was perfect. The way to the Villa is easy to find and very nice roads not forgetting the sanity in this place and the view towards the see.lovely We where welcomed very well by Marin a and Her husband, very very friendly, lovely couple. They made sure our stay there was very comfortable. Any issue we raised was solved immediately. Gast Familie made sure that our small Baby enjoyed his stay too by bringing some fish on the Aquarium. Pure love! They also went out of there way to bring us to some places before we got our car and they didn’t want anything in return. Gast Familie valued more that we have a nice stay than money. This place is very quite and i would suggest people with children to visit this place also instead of renting a small appartement, here your children will have enough space to play and swim without worry. We will come back again and for those who want to visit this place ,please try it you will not be disappointed. Best Regards Fam .Schüle

Nice stay

We had a nice stay at Villa Deleni. We were grandparents, parents and children. Two boys 10 and 7 years, that loved the pool. The youngest, 15 months loved to walk/run in the garden. The pergola at the pool gave nice shadows at the warmest. 20 minutes walk to Prines with local tavernas, pharmacy and shops. 10 -15 minutes by car to Rethymnon old town. The owners did not know what good they could do for us. We had a great time and will recomend this Villa.

Traumhafte Villa mit Garten und Pool

Die Villa ist so schön wie auf den Fotos dargestellt. Durch das große Grundstück mit großem Garten verlebt man den Urlaub ruhig, diskret und ungestört. Es gibt nur zwei direkte Nachbarn, die nicht zu sehen sind. Die Villa liegt etwa 5-10 Minuten mit dem Auto von den nächsten Einkaufmöglichkeiten und der Nationalstraße entfernt. Der Wohn/Essbereich mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und der sehr großen Terasse bietet für mehr als 20 Personen Platz, so dass man auch Gäste einladen kann. Die Vermieter (Familie Davis) sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, bleiben dabei aber zurückhaltend. Sofern ein Problem auftritt wird es sofort beseitigt. Nachdem bei uns eine Agavenblüte wegen eines Windstoßes am Pool umgeknickt war, entfernte Herr Davis den Stamm von 5 m Länge spät Abends innerhalb von 20 Minuten. Alle Reisenden waren zufrieden, wir würden jederzeit wieder diese Villa mieten.

Fantastic villa in a perfect location

My family and I, including my two children aged 3 and 4 stayed in Marinas villa for a week in August. We had the most wonderful time and I cannot find a single complaint. Everything was exactly as described, the villa and grounds were spotlessly clean with the pool being cleaned every morning. The air conditioning worked brilliantly and the villa had everything we could have hoped for and more, were only sorry we didn't get around to drinking the wine Marina very kindly provided. The location of the villa is fantastic with Rethymnon in easy reach, Lidl a very short drive, and various beaches also. Arkardi Monastery is well worth a visit as are the Argyroupoli waterfalls but the whole area is wonderful to explore. There are some lovely tavernas in Prines also. We absolutely loved exploring the gardens which really are beautiful, my daughters particularly loved the fish! We cannot fault a single thing about our holiday only that we wish it had been longer! Beautiful villa! great location! super pool! wonderful and very attentive owners! my family and I had a great time at Villa Deleni! Cant wait to go back!
