The space
Villa Candice is a remarkable 450 m2 historic villa in the traditional village of Maroulas, Rethymno, originally a Venetian-era olive oil mill and carefully restored under the supervision of the Greek Archaeological Department. Combining authentic architectural character with contemporary comfort, the villa features elegant stone arches, vaulted ceilings, hidden tunnels, and unique heritage details throughout.

Accommodating up to 12 guests, the villa offers 4 spacious bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, including two family bedrooms with mezzanines. Guests can enjoy a fully equipped professional kitchen, generous living and dining areas, a mezzanine workspace with complimentary Wi-Fi, and exceptional indoor spaces designed for both relaxation and entertainment.

Surrounded by traditional stone walls, the outdoor areas provide complete privacy and include a large terrace, private swimming pool (heated in winter), BBQ area, and breathtaking panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, the Psiloritis Mountains, and the city of Rethymno. Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire private villa and all its indoor and outdoor facilities, including the private swimming pool, terrace, BBQ area, and all living spaces. This includes 4 en-suite bedrooms, the fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge areas, mezzanine workspace, laundry room, and the villas unique historic features such as the stone tunnels and cellar. Free private parking and complimentary Wi-Fi are also available throughout the property.

Please note that Villa Candice is a historic property located in the traditional village of Maroulas, featuring authentic architectural elements such as stone stairs, arches, and split-level spaces, which may require extra attention for young children or guests with limited mobility.

? Outdoor Pool Heating Policy

Temperature Range
Pool heating aims to maintain a maximum of 26 ?C, depending on outdoor weather conditions.

Recommended Usage Months
Heating is generally offered during March to mid-June and October to November.

Advance Notice Required
Please provide at least 3 days notice prior to arrival to allow the pool to reach optimal temperature.

Heating Fee
Pool heating is available at an additional cost of EUR50/day.

Minimum Booking Period
Heating must be booked for the entire duration of your stay.

Weather Limitations
Heating does not operate when:

Outdoor temperature exceeds 25 ?C

Rainy or unstable weather conditions

Please note that a pool cover is not available, which may affect heat retention.
