"Pros: We chose the place based on the facilities rather than the location, so if you're wanting entertainment on your doorstep you'd be slightly disappointed. But for us, the villa was ideal, plenty of room inside, large swimming pool and excellent outdoor entertainment area including a pizza oven. Josephine was a wonderful hostess, very attentive and generous. Highly recommend a stay at Villa Mariavittoria if Sicily is your destination of choice."

"The Check-in was easy, the host was really nice.Communication via Whatsapp was easy.The house is big enough for 6 people - although we were only 2, so lots of space.The Pellets Stove worked well and was heating the house really fast - nice if you book in february."

"Cette maison a un très fort potentiel, mais l’hôte devrait faire un effort pour entretenir sa maison. Beaucoup de choses sont négligées, tartre un peu partout, lave-vaisselle en panne, four dans un état de saleté étonnant. Les meubles de jardin sont usagés et il manque de véritables chaises longues. C’est dommage car pour le reste, cette réservation est top."

"Augusta ligt redelijk centraal om Catania, De Etna, Taormina, Siracusa en Noto te bezoeken. Wij hebben ook Agrigento bezocht, 400 km. v.v. Villa Angela is keurig verblijf met vriendelijke gastheer en dame. Supermarkt en goede bar op korte afstand. Restaurants genoeg in de omgeving."

"Pros: Dass jeder genug Platz für sich hatte und wir auch bei schlechtem Wetter viele Optionen hatten, im Haus Spaß zu haben. Außerdem war es schön sauber im Haus, sodass man sich wohl gefühlt hat. Das Außengelände war ein Traum für die Kinder, wie ein großer Abenteuerspielplatz! Cons: Die Küche hätte für uns besser ausgestattet sein können. Geschirr und Besteck waren in ausreichendem Maße vorhanden. Wenn man mit einer großen Gruppe anreist, braucht man jedoch große Töpfe und große Pfannen. Extra...

"We had a fantastic time in Villa Oliva. The house is gorgeous and comes with a beautiful garden. Bakery and little shops 5 minutes away from the house. Aci Catena is ideal for day trips to the Etna, Taormina, Syracuse. Isabella is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and made everything smooth. "

"Personal muy amable, excelente buffet para desayunar. Hotel un pelín anticuado pero todo correcto. Está en lo alto de una colina, imprescindible moverse en coche, no me imagino subir allí andando con maletas. Vistas preciosas al Mar Jónico. La piscina sólo está abierta de 10:30 a 18:30 porque sólo se permite el baño si está el socorrista, con lo que se aprovecha poco si pasas el día fuera de excursión (lo habitual). Opciones para cenar por la zona (el restaurante Odissea que está justo enfrente es sencillo pero excelente, el personal es súper amable y el precio muy razonable) y en Aci Trezza (a pocos minutos en coche)."
