We enjoyed dinner and games around the massive kitchen table before relaxing around the firepit and taking in the peace of country living. At any given time, you would find someone on one of the 4 porches, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Angie was an amazing host, with thoughtful touches everywhere! "We had a great stay at the farmhouse at Peaks of Otter Winery in Bedford, VA! My husband & I needed rest and relaxation and the stay at Elmo's Rest farmhouse did not disappoint!! It's remote enough in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains for peace & quiet but close enough to town (about 17 minute drive) to get to the grocery store, gas station, and very yummy Joe's Coffee Shack where I got a Caramel Machiatto everyday :) Definitely book this if you want to retreat and spend time alone or with...
