"We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, knowing full well its just a nice big room, with king-size bed. Loved the charm and history of this building, that was once owned by the Yatch club we overlook as well as ocean tide ciing in and out! Bonus! The huge outdoor patio, had furniture, made from lobster traps was really unique! The eclecticly furnished, clean room, with fridge was very cool. Not cookie cutter, like bigger hotels Shared kitchen downstairs, for glasses or cooking. Only improvement...

"This is a really nice "old fashioned" hotel with remodeled rooms. Decor was very nice, bed was comfortable, and TV was huge. It still seems to be a work in progress, though, with a DYI feel to some of the maintenance. For instance, huge microwave is on a very wobbly shelf that seems sure to fail at one point. No place to put soap of washcloth in shower expect floor - and no grab bar to hold onto when bending down to get them. No elevator, either, so be prepared to carry everything up one or two...

"The view was fantastic. Sitting on the porch looking right over the water was perfect. The interior is a little dated but had what we needed and we spent more time outside than in!"
