"This was our second stay at the purple house and we had a wonderful time. The location is quiet, and an easy walk to both the lake and the main street where most of the restaurants and stores are. The host is very nice and very responsive. The place had a lot of amenities as well."

"The location was convenient for the three places we were visiting - Ithaca, Watkins Glen and Corning. Plenty of space, and comfortable as well. The layout of Unit 2 is a little tough to discern from the pictures, but you walk in the front door to the kitchen/dining/living, with the bathroom and bedroom behind. Then downstairs to another "family room" with a larger TV. There is a little noise from the upstairs neighbor, mostly due to the age of the house and wooden floors, but otherwise quiet....

"The house was very clean upon arrival. A code was sent earlier in the day so entry was easy. Everything we needed was available. They also included coffee, creamer, water, snacks and lots of ice. They responded quickly to a question I had at the end our trip. You can hear just about everything between floors and even from the other side of the duplex."

"Location, location, location. This place was absolutely perfectly located in town near everything you could ever want to do in watkins glen! It is a immaculate property and me and my girlfriend could not have been happier. Super easy check in and the owners communicated perfectly with us throughtout our stay. "It's not often a property looks exactly like it's listing, but this one did not disappoint! I think the house and accommodations were even more beautiful than the pictures. The location was great! So close to many local wineries and breweries and a short walk down to the lake. We were pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary bottle of wine upon our arrival in addition to a basket of snacks and bottled water. There were even two bags of ice in the freezer! "The apartment is in a beautiful historic home that sits on a hill overlooking the town and lake. It is fairly spacious apartment for a two bedroom and has a very nice front porch to look over the lake. The apartment was fully stocked with everything I needed for the trip and everything seemed very well taken care of.
