"Lovely reception from the owner, who was very informative about local places to visit, eat and fish.
Room had everything we needed for our 3 night stay, including a portable stove. Outside had a bbq with everything needed to cook on it.
We also had a lovely farewell from the owner as we were leaving."

"The main attraction was the Mexican restaurant with bar attached (and happy hour, which never disappoints). While there wasn't actually a lot of Mexican food on the menu, what was there was very good. A couple of biscuits in the room with coffee would be good. Convenience - room/restaurant/bar was the big factor. "

"Easy drive off and back on to the motorway. Room was great i hired a cabin. Check in was super easy. Wait till you meet Kym definitely with a Y and Pieta (its pronounced Peta not Pieta or Pie Ta and Just Jo they are just fully awesome.
Beach is 5min walk, creek is less. Shops are 14km away if you forget anything. Definitely going back.
Actually was a nice half way point between Brisbane and Newcastle "

"Convenient easy to find beds comfy, close to highway but surprisingly quiet. Restaurant convenient. My food choice was dreadful. Don't go for Nachos Mince cheese the odd bean a dobb of sour cream and no idea what they called the corn chips. I did express my concern to the waiter he said he would let the chef know. Tasteless."
