type of building: semi-detached. This house is located in the middle of the Nockberge mountains at 1800 metres directly in the Falkertsee skiing and hiking area. Holiday flat or holiday home? Decide in favour of both. How? The Murmelbau holiday flat with infrared cabin is located opposite the flat house. The landlords completely renovated and extended the house in 2009 and 2010. The Murmelbau holiday apartment/house was newly built. There is a very cosy restaurant with a tiled stove in the lower part and a holiday flat in the upper part. This holiday flat was added to the existing house. It has approx. 80 m² and is actually a house with a completely separate entrance.
In front of the house is a nice sitting area with a large round table where you can enjoy a cosy breakfast. On the spacious terrace there is a barbecue, a table and sun loungers. You can park your car right next to the house. Opposite the flat (right next to our flat house) is a large sun terrace with sun loungers, barbecue, garden furniture, table tennis table and sandpit with slide. Above it is a playground with a large trampoline (with net), a baby swing, a swing for older children, a tree house, a beach chair and a skill course "Bauerngolf". This is the highest situated "golf course".
When you enter the flat or house, you will find yourself in the entrance area with the cloakroom. Straight ahead you enter the living area, to the left is a WC and to the right is the 1st floor. The living area has a cosy seating area with a bench to pull out over the corner and a massage chair where you can watch satellite TV. Opposite is the dining area with an old farmhouse table and next to it the open-plan kitchen, which was made from old wood. So you have an atmosphere like in the old days and enjoy the comfort of today. (Dishwasher, electric cooker with oven, fridge with two large freezer drawers, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, various kitchen utensils and plenty of crockery). As a further convenience, we provide you with a Nespresso coffee machine. One window faces east and the large window front faces south. These can be opened completely and you have an unforgettable view of the surrounding mountains. There are two bedrooms on the upper floor, both of which face east. Both double beds are equipped with a "Hüsler Naturnest". These "bed inserts" mould themselves completely to the body and are therefore very healthy. One bedroom has a satellite TV and a small attic room, where there is also a bed. This room is very cosy and ideal for a child. It can also be used as storage space. The other bedroom has an extra bed and is very spacious. There are also two bathrooms on this floor; one with a bath and the other with a shower. In between is an extra WC and next to it is an infrared cabin. This flat was mainly furnished with old farmhouse furniture and lots of love.
In winter, the Falkert offers its guests a varied leisure programme such as guided torchlight hikes, guided snowshoe hikes, cross-country skiing taster sessions, end-of-ski school races, sociable evenings in the huts and much more, as well as skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, snowboarding, ski touring, snowshoeing, long winter walks and much more. In summer, the Falkert has prepared a special offer for its guests, which is available free of charge to our guests: introduction to climbing on the via ferrata including rope slide, introduction to technical climbing on the climbing wall, slackline - balance and coordination training, bouldering - free climbing at jump height, as well as free family admission to the popular Heidi Alm! In addition, the Nockberge National Park here on the Falkert offers: sunrise hikes with wildlife watching followed by . For climbing enthusiasts there is a challenging natural via ferrata - Falkensteig.
High chair, cot, baby carrier,... are of course provided free of charge by the landlords. And if you don't want to cater for yourself every day, you can treat yourself to regional specialities or other delicacies in the restaurant. You don't have to do without your fresh breakfast pastries either. This will be delivered to your doorstep.
