Perfect Beach Location

The Lyons’ family enjoyed their three weeks stay. The location was perfect and was as described. 100 steps away from the beach. Our only concern was the house needing a little bit of TLC.

Perfect for traveling with dogs

This house is beautifully located close to the beach and within walking distance of restaurants in Dewey Beach. When we visited, there was construction on two of four sides which made for a high noise level during the day. The house has a little wear and tear. Mattresses are very soft. The house was clean and the kitchen was well outfitted. We were just pleased to find a rental that allowed us to bring our dog. Be aware that the Roku tv does not provide local or nationals channels or access to all streaming services (no prime or apple). We went through CNN withdrawal.

Amazing Beach Location

Small vacation

We came for a short vacation and left with lifetime of fantastic memories. The house was amazing. There was more than enough room for all of us. The beach is just steps away and is absolutely stunning. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Visit

We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely beach cottage. Check in was a breeze. The location is excellent as it is between Rehoboth and Dewey Beaches, and walking distance. The cottage was very comfortable. We would definitely like to return for another visit!

Checkin process was very easy. Location was amazing. Beach access is pretty much right outside the front door. Short distance to shopping. The fact that it was pet friendly was a major plus. Would stay here again.

Fantastic beach house!

Location, location, location! Steps away from the beach without any busy roads to cross, this house was perfect! Our dogs stayed cool on the screened in porch while we played on the beach. Kitchen was fully stocked and backyard grill was perfect for easy dinners. Communication with hosts was easy, and the hosts were very responsive to a minor issue on checkin with resolution within 10 minutes! Definitely will stay here again!

Location, Location, Location

I spent the weekend at this property on two separate occasions. It has many fine qualities including the basics that are expected - fully equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms, nice layout, etc. However, there are three other amenities that are understated: 1) The location of the property is amazing. It's a half mile walk via the beach to the Rehoboth Boardwalk. I took that walk and then jogged the boardwalk each morning. By way of the road, it's a nice walk (extremely wide berm) and then through the quaint neighborhoods - so either way works for a nice walk. The other direction takes you to the cute little town of Dewey beach. 2). The forgotten mile of beach between Rehoboth and Dewey provides a stretch of unpopulated beach that puts in mind of being further away from Rehoboth and Dewey - very peaceful. 3). The back yard is amazing for both pets and grilling. Very private, conveniently accessed (unlike many beach access properties). It's another way to enjoy time as a family. While I grilled, the pups and kids play and my husband sat at the table so we could talk. An extra backup tank of propane warmed my heart (lol). I often grill for my family. This little cottage offers a ton of convenience and it's amazing location makes it a must-do for us next year! Enjoy!

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I stayed in this house for a weekend getaway. We were visiting friends that had moved to Lewes Delaware. Initially, when booking this trip the dog friendly house caught my attention, as we were going to be traveling with our yorkie. We are campers and our yorkie goes everywhere with us. However, the night before my son came home and watched our yorkie. So it ended up being just my husband and I. So dog friendly home. Very clean and neat! Extremely close to the beach, which we didn’t get a chance to do. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who wanted to be close to the beach or just visit friends like we did. Everything, we could have needed was there. Beautiful screened in porch and yard, we didn’t use, but it’s there and we could’ve.

Location Location Location!

Perfect spot to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. Easy access to the beach (as well as getting onto the beach) and so close to downtown Rehoboth. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. Easy communication with our hosts and they responded quickly. Our pups had a great time on the screened in porch and in the yard. I'd love to come back when its not winter! A+

Because it was winter there was noone around and so the en tire area was quiet and peaceful !! All you hear are the ocean waves ! The kithen is thoroughly appointed & we''made some greatmeals !!! Bed was comfy too !!!!

A great ocean escape!

If you’re looking to stay right by the beach, this place is excellent. Location was perfect, less than a block from the water, and the house was exactly what we had envisioned. Owners were very helpful and very responsive. I highly recommend!

Seaside neighborhood retreat

We LOVED our stay! This beautiful home is nestled in a cute seaside neighborhood steps from the beach. Gorgeous sunrises! And close enough to restaurants in both Rehoboth and Bethany beaches. Enjoy a large kitchen and primary bedroom suite. The screened in porch provided another lounging place to hear the waves.

Nice beach cottage just steps from the beach

This is a cute beach cottage just steps from the path to the beach with a nice screened porch and backyard ideal for kids and pets. It's a short drive to many restaurants in Lewes and Rehoboth as well as to John Waples playground. The arrival information sent information was not entirely current (unfortunately the nearby local market is no longer open.) We've stayed at countless vacation rentals and never have had to make up the beds ourselves (versus stripping beds when leaving, which we always do). Beds already made is preferable as we arrived with children then had to put sheets on all the beds ourselves. We realized an hour after checking out that we'd left something of our daughter's in the fridge and contacted the owners to inquire how we could retrieve it, they initially responded they'd check with the cleaners then never followed up, which was disappointing.
