My friends came to celebrate my birthday at the beach. The waterfront views are incredible. The house was clean and spacious, feeling like staying at a resort. We found the extras like the martini shaker, different cocktail glasses, beach chairs were lovely to have at our fingertips. The elevator made not only loading luggage and groceries easier, but also was nice for guests who weren’t as comfortable with stairs. The town of Lewes was so cute to shop and walk through, with so many choices of restaurants open in March was a nice surprise compared to other NJ beach towns. We hope to make this a regular gathering place.

This is the 3rd year that we have rented this house for a long weekend. Easy communication with the host. The house is clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen is well stocked with flatware, glasses, plates. Easy check in and out. The beds are comfortable and so is the common space. I give a 5 star rating reluctantly because I don't want the house to become so popular that I will lose my weekend.

The company you recommended to rent the towels and linen from were expensive and unreliable. I had to cancel the order because we found out the delivery would take 3 days, ridiculous for a local company, this made the service unnecessary. Therefore, we had to find a store to buy towels so we could bathe!!! If one decides to cancel their order from Shore Easy Linen rental company, their policy is to reimburse you by check within 4 weeks! I had to file a dispute through my credit card company to ensure reimbursement.Bottom line I would NOT rent from this owner again. I felt unwelcome: 1) no linen or towels2) could not depend on using the elevator to get my 90 y/o aunt & disabled vet up/down 3 flights of stairs daily.3)There was a hand written sign, "Renters cover the expense of elevator repairs", is telling enough. None of this was noted in the pictures or rental agreement. They should have insurance to cover those general use repairs. Actually, I felt like we would have to pay for anything in the house that broke from general use: dishwasher, refrigerator, heaters, etc.Here are a few pictures from the property that should give you a rethink of how you manage your property and provide better customer service.

This is our fourth time staying at this property for our annual girls weekend and we love it as much as the first time. This year, the owner seems to have made more room by flattening some of the hilly sand for easier parking in driveway which was a pleasant surprise. The owner is very attentive to concerns and quick to repond. Can't wait till next year!

This is a great property for a family looking for a quiet bay beach. LEWES is a beautiful little town and the house was beautiful. The owners were very responsive when there were weather issues and we enjoyed our stay very much. Has all the amenities you could need and an elevator for anybody that can’t do the stairs. Great week.

Beautiful Lewes House

Our family all loved the house and the location was perfect. We especially enjoyed the easy access to the beach having a 4 year old and 16 month old child. The house was clean, well supplied in all areas, especially having beach chairs and beach items for the kids. The house is absolutely lovely as well as the rooms. The host was great with responding and addressing any questions. The only one issue was the barbeque grill which not cleaned. Therefore, other than this, the house is ideal, and would definitely rent again. We all had a wonderful week!

The location of the house is perfect for walking into downtown Lewes (.5 mile away), getting to the beach (short walk across parking lot), and grabbing some ice cream at the Dairy Queen just around the corner. Beautiful sunsets can be seen from the decks. The elevator is quite handy when moving into and out of the house. For this of you that are members of the American Legion, there is a wonderful post located just a couple blocks away with very welcoming and friendly members!

Birthday Beach Trip

I surprised my "special needs" daughter with this trip for her 40th birthday with closest family. It could not have been better...the house was great...the weather was beautiful. The only thing was trouble getting bedroom TV's to connect or find remote for some. Was not a huge issue as the TV in the main area was no problem.

Lovely home great for a group.

Spacious home with nice views of the ocean. Kitchen very well stocked. Easy walk into town. Comfortable bedrooms. Oddly located on a large public parking lot but in off season it was very quiet. The address does not match Waze or the listing so double check with host on how to find the house.

Girls weekend

This was the third consecutive year we've stayed at this property and we still love it. The house is equipped with just about everything needed for a perfect getaway. Great time with old friends

Great getaway for long time friends, ages 70+, elevator was a Godsend. Perfect location, loved the town of Lewes. Our only complaint was dishwasher was not working and was full of dirty dishes when we arrived. Also an odor trying to be covered with plug ins.

Family Vacation

Wonderful location with a beautiful view

The house was very clean, nicely furnished and provided great sunset views, as well as an easy walk to downtown Lewes for restaurants and boutique shopping. It was also a great location for taking little ones to the beach -- though there is a parking lot between the front of the house and the beach, so little ones have to be watched when you leave the house. As far as we were concerned, the parking lot was the only drawback to the otherwise perfect location.
