This is a lovely house right on the beach. A great summer place. It’s on the never-too-crowded north end of Dewey. Everything is within easy reach. We ride our bikes to restaurants. Wonderful sunrises.The house has everything you might need.

Oceanfront vacation

The home is in an established community, close to both Dewey and Rehoboth and perfect for a relaxing week at the beach. It had all of the needed amenities and two wonderful screen porches to have coffee, dinner, or just read a book and relax.

Lovely Fluke of Nature

The beach house is a truly lovely place to spend some time in the summer. Wake up to the beautiful sunrIse. Take your coffee down to the water’s edge. Get ready for another wonderful day at the beach. Unlike Rehobeth, there’s plenty of room. The house is tidy and cute. It has everything you might need. Marlo is friendly and helpful. We’ll be going back again. We highly recommend it.

Great Beachfront Getaway

We had a lovely fall weekend. Steps from the beach, minutes from Rehoboth. Everything super comfortable. Back porches perfect for a quiet afternoon of reading and listening to the waves.

Crashing waves

Was amazed how loud and lovely the crashing waves could be while staying at this home. We could hear them all through the house. Coffee on the porch while the sun rose was wonderful looking out at the water. Not a fancy place but clean and comfortable and the location was perfect!

Perfect Perfect Perfect

Our stay at A Fluke of Nature was just perfect. The home is everything you could need or want, cozy and warm. The screened in balcony in the master bedroom is one of my favorite places to be, to sit and look at the stars or the moonrise or the sunrise and see and listen to the ocean. The community is special. Can't wait to go back. Marlo is an incredible host.

Look No Further!

We have stayed in this beautiful beach cottage more than a few times...and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. It's a well maintained (very clean) cottage stocked with all the essentials! And the ocean view from the upstairs porch is just what you want. AND I have to mention how comfortable the primary bedroom is-- great bed! The location is perfect -- close to Dewey's restaurants and not far from Rehoboth.

Luv the beach access and sounds of the ocean waves!!!!

So happy my wife and I found this listing years ago on VRBO!! We return as often as possible. We especially like the Autumn at the beach but will visit anytime the timing works out : ) Not only close to the beach, but within walking distance to both Rehoboth and Dewey.

Perfect Location

The location is absolutely perfect. The condo is right on the beach which makes very easy travel back and forth..especially with children. The house has everything you need for a great beach stay, though don’t expect luxury. This is a house for people who want to be at the beach, not to stay in a fancy home away from home. The house is walking distance to restaurants in Dewey and Rehoboth, but still provides a very calm and relaxed beach experience - all of the commotion and crowds are also a walking away.

Another wonderful experience

The Perfect Location

A Fluke of Nature is the perfect location! In addition to the beautiful ocean views on both floors, we were an easy walking distance from the Rehoboth boardwalk and Dewey dining and entertainment. When staying in, there was plenty of space for a family of 4 and we all enjoyed napping in the comfortable accommodations or outside on the screened-in decks. You can’t go wrong with this rental.
