I'm conflicted about my rating. The location was superb - half a block from the beach and boardwalk. The access to the next door hotel's pool was perfect. Even the living room and dining room were nice. BUT the bathroom on the ground floor, next to the king bedroom was really icky. The toilet was at a child-sized height and the toilet seat was white painted WOOD, with chips in it. I don't have to tell you what that looked like. The one piece shower enclosure was poorly installed. If you pushed against the wall, the whole shower enclosure moved. And the shower head was loose from the wall. In other words, it was not securely installed. There were ants in that king bedroom, not many, but still gross in that bathroom and the vanities in every bathroom were tiny. The space was good in all the bedrooms and bathrooms, but they were very bare bones. We had to bring in chairs from the dining room to use as a night table and suitcase stand. The television in the king bedroom was completely cracked and obviously nonfunctional. They did offer to come look at it, but we were only there for 5 days, so we didn’t want to bother. Also they were very responsive when one number in the hugely long security code malfunctioned. They made a shorter code, which did not include that number, which was helpful.Other shortcomings – a towel rack in an upstairs bathroom fell off the wall and the upstairs toilets did not flush efficiently. It’s a shame, because it could have been a really lovely house.
