No pool no hot tub supposed to have pastries every morning, but they ran out on Tuesday and then that was the end the rest of the week never got pastries again Not handicap accessible to the boardwalk, even though it’s right on the boardwalk, you have to go out the back door around the building to get to the front to the boardwalk very inconvenient! Front desk people were not very polite one question answers, and very rude Don’t expect to watch TV when it’s a rainy yucky day out because their television system is awful a little bit of wind and you have no TV The floors in the bedroom are dirty. I’ll wear my socks go to bed and the socks are filthy. Air conditioning very, very noisy. Wake me up and scare me. There was one worker the maintenance man Quincy very very helpful. He went above and beyond to help me get a comfortable chair from my room. It’s a big room with empty space where a chair should’ve been but the front desk or like nope you don’t get a chair if you want a chair come sit down in the lobby.

Great stay. I'd definitely stay again. Great location for walking the boardwalk. AC unit was hard to keep the temperature even in the room, but no big deal to me, I let them know. I did not use any amenities (no breakfast), they do have coffee, hot chocolate, etc in the lobby. It's the oldest hotel in the area, so don't expect the be glorious! They are updated. No issues for me and I travel all year!

We loved the balcony and view of the ocean from our room. The sound of the ocean as we slept was beautiful! The staff at the front desk were nice and helpful. We loved that we were at the end of the board walk. It was quiet, and the access to beach was easy. It made it easy to watch the sunrise! We even saw dolphins! It was easy to walk to the restaurants and shops. The parking was a little confusing; however, at the time they were redoing the main parking garage. Our room needed some work. There was a broken light in the bathroom. Another light in the bathroom barely lit up. There was an annoying high-pitched hum in the bathroom. We kept the door shut to lessen the sound. There were some poorly painted sections of the walls. It was a big room, but the two queen beds were oddly close to each other. In other words, maybe they could lay the room out differently. The room seems like at one point it was a condo instead of a hotel room.

We only stayed 1 night but although the property is older… it is well cared For and updated. We really enjoyed being on the boardwalk and seeing the ocean from our sweet balcony.

During our day, nobody cleaned our room. I requested for baby crib which they placed it, but wasn’t made it when I asked them to send somebody to make the crate. They said you’ll have to do by yourself..

We had an awesome ocean front room with plenty of room, great chairs on the balcony, large bathroom and shower! Would only suggest to the property that they work to create handicap access to the beach.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at this hotel. We booked a room with partial ocean view because there were no ocean view rooms available. When they say partial view, it truly is not partial. Maybe others are different, but we had to lean over the railing and really stretch to see the ocean. I guess it’s better than just looking at the courtyard. The temp in the room was very warm and despite trying to turn the temperature down, it was still warm. We had it set at 60 and it felt like it was at least 75. We should have just called the front desk, but we just survived. We did mention it upon checkout. Also, the radiator was really noisy (I saw this in other reviews). It kept kicking on and off constantly and was very loud. Again, didn’t call the front desk since I figured that it was the way they were based on previous reviews. The front desk staff were great! I wish that I got their names. It was cold out and nobody was on the beach, but I wanted to sit out there and watch and listen to the waves. Thinking that there would be no chance, I asked the front desk if they had chairs that that they rented to guests. She said that they did not, but they did have some beach chairs that previous guests had left behind. So she showed me those and said I could use it the whole time we were there. We requested a late check out and they did accommodate us. I would stay there again, but probably only if I could get an ocean front view (esp since the last one we had seemed bigger).

I have stayed at several hotels in Rehoboth Beach over the years. Decided to give this hotel a try. I will not visit again. There are no amenities offered. The hotel is outdated. The only plus is the room was oceanfront. I requested late check out upon check in, and this was not documented. I confirmed late check out the morning of check out, and was told it was not documented, and not possible. My sister, who was staying with me, addressed the issue with the same front desk personnel, and we were able to get late check out until noon. This was embarrassing. Very poor communication from staff and no amenities. I will continue to visit the Avenue Inn as well as the Belmoor moving forward. The staff respects their guests at these 2 hotels. There is no respect at this hotel. This hotel has nothing going for it other than if a guest chooses to book an oceanfront room. There is no breakfast, cocktail hour, hot tub nor pool. Very poor lighting. The bed is uncomfortable. However, the room was very clean. The location of the hotel is amazing. This hotel can only ride on its name for so long when nothing else is offered.

People who just need beach access this is perfect hotel as right on boardwalk. But other than rooms dont expect anything from hotel. Front staff at checkin was rude.. rooms are basic with very small bathroom. Nothing to do at hotel, not even a decent lobby space where u can sit , lobby was there but small. Only and only for summer. We went in April and was not worth the visit.
