"Driving in the old city is challenging, so taxi if possible. Once you arrive, though, this property is a slice of French heaven. The grounds are astonishing. The building itself is old, yet surprisingly modern. Large windows, a huge tub, and a very comfy bed. A perfect place to get away!"

"The bed and breakfast was fabulously located in the shadow of the palace, near parking and the best restaurants in town. But by far the highlight of our stay was the impeccable hospitality of Sandrine, our host, who attended to our every need. Her genuine warmth was on desplay at all times. She even walked me to a parking kiosk 10 minutes away to assure i wouldnt be overcharged. When she broke her toe, she carried on serving us breakfast and her enthusiasm never waivered. "

"This is exactly the kind of place you hope to find, but never seem to be able to - truly kind and helpful host, clean and spacious (and beautiful) room with gorgeous views over the vineyards, and an amazing breakfast (homemade jams and granola (!), as well as the best local breads, cheeses, and meats - truly a standout) each morning. "This is a fabulous place with lovely owners. It feels like a quiet oasis. We were there during a heatwave (40 degrees) but inside the rooms felt beautifully cool. We stayed in the museum room which was large, the bed was big and super comfortable. There’s a bath in the room (something my husband really wanted) and I made the assumption that there would be a walk in shower. "I don't normally review too many places I stay. They either have to be an incredible experience, or a horrible experience. Our stay at Temps Suspendu was INCREDIBLE!
