"Arrived to check in and was met by Tracey, the owner, who promptly gave us an upgrade. The cottage was superb with a modern country chic style. The ambience was warm and cosy with the gas log fire, comfortable bed and large bathroom complete with a claw footed bath. "Rose Cottage had a small fridge but it was generously stocked for breakfast items for the 6 nights of our stay. Location is good. There was pet hair and pet odour on the sofa which we cleaned. The pillow protectors and pillows were stained and not very comfortable. Spa was good. Television was very small and not all channels could be received due to its age. An extra towel rail in the bathroom would have been handy given extra towels used for the spa and for swimming nearby. Rose Cottage...
