Inside house was clean. Wifi didn't work. Bad cell coverage. Pool heater not working. Damaged pool tile. Exposed Elec conduit on dock. Cute place if better maintained.

Great place to relax and catch blue crabs!we enjoy kayaking, pool coziness of the place. Only one thing we wish was little bit better was Wi-Fi connection but otherwise everything was perfection.!!!

Great summertime getaway

We took my parents (86 and 88) for a three night stay and loved it. The house is clean, the owners provide lots of information, and access to the dock is easy (important for my dad who loves to fish but has mobility issues). But the pool was the most amazing part. During afternoons that were far too hot for us to spend time on the dock, we could lounge in the pool while enjoying wonderful views. And it felt secluded and quiet! We loved our stay and are grateful to be able to make memories for my mom and dad..

Amazing time. Very secluded. Such a beautiful and CLEAN place. This was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. They have a little Dyson vacuum to keep it clean. It was great because so many rentals do not even give you a broom to use. Beds are comfortable. The view from the bedroom at night and in the morning was beautiful. We woke up early to catch the sunrise.The pool is so relaxing with the view of the river. We crabbed right off of the dock. Caught so many crabs with hot dogs and Spam. Caught a couple tiny fish off of the dock. There are hundreds of little jellyfish swimming all around. The area doesn’t have much going on but the house had it all. We absolutely loved the place.

Property has lots of character and charm. We enjoyed the infinity pool, kayaking, crabbing from the dock and daily walks. The property is in a fairly remote location but we found that to be a plus. It was a great place to decompress and enjoy nature. The property owner was very responsive at booking and check-in. The only downsides to the property for us were that you had to walk through one bedroom to get the other bedroom and the WIFI was slow. Outside of that we really enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing week!

We had a nice quiet week in this adorable and clean home just relaxing in the pool and spending time in the kayaks. We ventured out for some yummy Mexican food for dinner, ice cream in Reedville, and the nearby cafe to try their cappuccino and breakfasts but otherwise spent a nice family week playing games and swimming.

Week Stay

Had a really relaxing week..we fished from the dock (didn't catch much but was relaxing lol). The pool was great and spent most of our days there. We had a really bad storm one evening and lost power for 12 hours. We were lucky we had flashlights and a latern in the car..may i suggest you provide one.

Great weekend getaway

We all really enjoyed our long weekend at this property outside Reedville, VA. The pool was a highlight! Property is in good condition overall, if a bit dated, and located in a very quiet residential area. The house is compact and best fit for 2-3 people, and older kids since the interior stairs are steep and there is a lot of water nearby.

Great Girls Trip

Love this house. It was spotlessly clean. Off the beaten path so WiFi and cell service can be spotty. Great to unplug and enjoy all the property and the Northern Neck have to offer. Loved seeing deer and their fawns in the yard!

Beautiful, secluded little retreat.

A little slice of heaven… and Allison is a super host. She is there if you need her and she makes sure the house was well stocked. This is a magical spot where you can get away from the busy world, detach and reset. Thank you Allison for opening your beautiful oasis to our family.

Rest & Relaxing trip

This is a wonderful property to visit. It was in a great location with beautiful views. The property is clean, the host was friendly and accommodating. It is a location that I would definitely recommend and go back to visit again.

Lovely quiet neighborhood on the bay

Quiet home with beautiful pool and Chesapeake bay views. The beds and sofas are comfortable. The outdoor table is perfect fit poolside dinners. Plenty of towels. Of note: you need to walk through one bedroom to get to the second bedroom. It didn’t bother us. Home is very clean and well kept. I’d recommend adding more dishes: plates and plastic drinking glasses specifically. Host was accommodating and responsive and offered good local suggestions. We enjoyed the local vineyard.

Wonderful getaway

This is the perfect place to get away and relax. The home is cozy and the beds comfy. Lovely pool to relax in! Private dock to just feel the breeze or fish or crab. Loved the kayaks as well.

Nice. Quiet, Very secluded. Was hoping the dock would be good for swimming dogs but it was a little difficult to get down off and leash required. The pool was a little cloudy and debris filled but the owner did say it was a new pool pump. House was clean and well stocked. Overall very nice and relaxing.

Peace and quiet

The property was just as described, very happy with our stay. Well kept home with a beautiful view. Well maintained and lite dock was fantastic, overlooking a protected cove with deep water. Would definitely recommend if your looking for some peace and quiet.

Fabulous spot!

We had a beautiful stay at this very comfortable house! We had a blissful time enjoying the woods, the pool, the dock, and kayaking on the lovely Little Wicomico river! It’s a nice quiet spot, with tons of birdsong by day and starry skies at night. We made a fire in the pit every evening, and loved having every meal on the deck. The morning view from the master bedroom was just gorgeous! Allison was a very responsive and thoughtful host. We hope to return!

River weekend

We had a good time over the weekend, especially enjoyed the infinity pool! Getting the kayaks in the water wasn't as easy as we thought it would be, but we were able to get it done. Allison was very responsive to my questions and was flexible when I thought we were going to have to change our dates. Very nice house in a beautiful location.

Nice Quiet place

Nice and quiet place for a small family. Great place for kids to swim with floaties. There were tiles laying around pool someone could get cut. Only problem we had was the check in process. When we got there the cleaning lady was still there so we couldn’t back our car in. She finished until 3:30PM. Another incident was the pool guy arrived about that time to clean the pool so we had to wait for him to move his car as well. Pool was not ready to use until 5PM. The bed close to the upstair steps was too hard. We left saturday instead of Sunday because of the bed was hard on my hip since I have hip dysplasia.
