Tranquility on the Waterfront

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful waterfront property in Reedville, VA. The setting is secluded and peaceful, perfect for a nature-filled getaway. We especially enjoyed the kayaks, which our whole family loved using to explore the water. We could even see schools of fish swimming by as we paddled. Mornings and evenings on the dock were magical, with herons flying overhead and serene views of the water. The hammock was a perfect touch for lazy afternoons, and we loved taking quiet strolls around the property. Our host was very kind and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Just what we were looking for

Great communication with owners. Very nice house and isolation. We come to Reedville for peace on the bay and this is just what we were looking for. Nice dock and good kayaking. Easy access to sites in the area.

Lovely place right on the bay

We had a wonderful time at this very lovely place in Reedville. It was a last-minute decision, but check-in was smooth. The kayaks were very nice, and a great way to observe local wildlife. There is both a large deck and a screened-in patio. Both family and pet friendly.

3rd Time is Still a Charm

This is our 3rd time staying at this property over the years and we still love it. Great host. Great deep water dock with safe boat slip. Great property layout with outside amenities. Great house - clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Thanks for another great weekend! 🙂

Awesome place to stay

This is a beautiful property! It is on the water with a dock and the views both in the morning and night were amazing. The house was extremely clean and we did not need anything when we arrived. Dealing with the owners was a great experience. Most definitely would recommend this property to get a great feel for the Northern Neck.

Rest and Relaxation

Sunrise Point was beautiful! The description and the pictures of the property are spot on. The property owners provided specific details about the property and the area itself prior to us arriving, which was extremely helpful. Many thanks! The weather was perfect for fishing during the day and enjoying a fire in the fire pit in the evening. The house was clean and well appointed! A true “R and R” retreat! We hope to have the opportunity to return in the future.

Natural Beauty

What a relaxing week for our family! No matter where you were on the property- outfront, outback, dockside, walking, screened porch, family room, deck- you were surrounded by the quiet, serene natural beauty of the outdoors. We had fun kayaking, fishing, and crabbing! The house was very comfortable and well-appointed. We felt right at home! The owners made check-in and check-out so easy and were there for any questions we had about the area. Thank you for a memorable, wonderful week!

Summer at Sunrise Point

This is a great place for a family. The yard and deck are spacious. The kitchen/dining area leads into the high ceiling living room. We fished from the dock and played games at the large table. Be sure to pack the bug spray and check your dog for any critters. Hope to visit again soon.

Nice location

We enjoyed our stay overall, but some of the areas of the house could have been a little cleaner. We enjoyed the screened-in room, but it needs some new screens. Some were ripped and allowed wasps in. Our first day I spent a couple of hours cleaning out all four of the kayaks. I was not happy about that. They had leaves, dirt, and spiders all over the inside of them. We did enjoy the collection of board games, playing corn hole, and the hammock.

Sunrise Point Perfection!

Sunrise Point is perfection! It was our second stay and the house is comfortable, attractive, well equipped. The location is beautiful, quiet and private but a short drive for restaurants, Hughlett Preserve, and charming small towns. Delightful! Pat Nevill

Great stay

My family and I had a great time at Sunrise. They house was everything the description said it was and more. We loved having coffee on the deck each morning and grilling in the evenings. The dock was great for fishing and teaching our little ones about fishing and crabbing. 10 out of 10!

Place to unplug

This was a family get together but not everyone made it at one time. The place was perfect with our dogs and family. It's a little ways out there but we had a great time. We rented it for the kayaks but didn't go out since it was SOOOO hot. Beds were comfy and the screen in porch with fans were perfect to eat dinner in the evening.

Great getaway

Lovely property with excellent privacy. Well maintained house stocked with all you need but not the clutter we have found at many other vacation rentals. The water was beautiful and great for kayaking. We had hoped to swim also but didn't realize jellyfish would be so prevalent in the waters for our visit. We had plenty to do and my kids swam at local beaches to get their swim time in. Host provided very complete info on area and recommended sites/food/groceries. Thouroughly enjoyed by our 11 and 13 yr old kids, ourselves and our dogs!

This was the perfect house for our family over Memorial Day weekend. It had everything we could want or need - dock, cornhole, grill, screened-in porch, dog-friendly yard. We also enjoyed the loft area and the cute decor. Perfect location in a quiet spot as well.

Sunrise Point Perfection!

This property is beautiful. It is a wonderful house - well appointed, water views, excellent location. There are many things for outdoor entertainment, but it is heavenly to just sit on the dock or the large deck with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine! The large lot and privacy are a major bonus.
