"This was the culmination of a self-promise made 11 years ago. Then, we had afternoon tea on the patio, but can’t remember how we discovered Portloe. We said we should stay here if we ever visit Cornwall again. Fast forward to now; an unexpected opportunity to re-visit Cornwall. And it came to pass. Our stay did not disappoint- the quirky corridors to our room, the spectacular views from the windows, the bright and airy restaurant and the opportunity (again) to observe a lone fisherman working on...

"The bedroom smelt like mould, the wallpapers had mould all over them. The window had so much mould on it and I asked if member of Staff could open the bedroom window little bit more but he couldn’t as he was the only person working at the time. The cold tap in the bathroom doesn’t work and not nice to use hot water to brush your teeth with.
