Arrived at home to find it not cleaned. Urine on toilet seats, hair on sinks, shower, toilets. Dog hair on furniture and floor not swept or vacuumed. Filthy bathroom drawers. Went to use the pool and we were denied access as the property owner hadn't properly registered or left instructions for how to register the guest passes. Came back to the home only to be locked out. Contacted the property owner who promptly came over but had to call a contractor to get the lock fixed which took over 2 hours. All of this in the first hour at the rental so needless to say, it completely ruined the day. Due to the uncleanliness of the rental we washed the sheets and cleaned the sinks and toilets. Owner cleaned the property the next day but not great on that either. Left a bucket of black mop water in the sink and took the blow dryer. Felt like we should get a partial refund at least but all the owner did was buy us alcohol. Owner said we were her first renters but then on day of checkout, she asked when we'd be out as she had sold the home and it was being inspected the morning we were leaving. Really odd and terrible experience. Would really like a refund.
