The house was absolutely charming. We loved the location and it was so close to everything in town. I would love to stay there again. The back porch was had so much seating, outdoor heaters and was next to the running water. It was a beautiful place to hang out and read a book or for a group to be together outside.

If you are all about location this is the place for you! It was a GREAT location right across from fishing ponds, the river right outside the back door and right next to the ski lift!It was lacking in amenities for us though. A few things that would have given it a 5 star vs 4. Pillows-need new asap!Beds-very uncomfortable—we used all of the beds except the pullout in the landing area. Everyone said they were lacking in comfort. TVs-the website is misleading in that they offer direct tv. We did not come here to watch tv but do enjoy the tube at night especially for sports. They are small and you just use your streaming service. For some this may not be a big deal but our streaming service only allows you to change locations as “home” 2 times. In addition, had my techy husband not been with us we would have not been able to use it because no one else knows anything about how to use streaming services with passwords etc. it was a bit frustrating and misleading. Also would have been nice to have tvs in all bedrooms. Front steps- the front steps are extremely dangerous and need to be fixed asap as it is a hazard. Stove-very antiquated. All of the burners tilt and it was extremely hard to get an even cooking surface. We cooked every meal and by the end of the week I just gave up! This property is very beautiful. The living area was nice with lots of seating for dinner etc. we enjoyed our stay but would probably not return.

Fabulous week at Red River

Truly a beautiful home and place to relax. Bonus is back patio with flowing river with access, fire pit, and front view of lake and mountains. Beautifully decorated home. Very clean, fully equipped kitchen to cook anything you wish. We will be back.

Red River 2024

The house was great overall. The outdoor space was excellent. Having the heaters outside was great and bringing the propane as needed was quick and easy. The range was dated and slow to work, but adequate. The sofa bed in the loft was broken and not usable creating a bed issue. We had to add air mattresses for two.

Beautiful Home Near Lifts

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home that is in walking distance to the ski lifts and Main St. The kitchen is well stocked and plenty of seating for our family of 6. Beds were uncomfortable, but that is common no matter where you stay and would not prevent us from staying here again in the future. We hope to stay here again in future ski trips to Red River.

Skiing Spring Break

Spring Break at Red River was a winter wonderland. Crowed but awesome! “Mountain Spirit Riverside”, the house worked out great for our family of 9. Walking to the main chalet for skiing was a good walk, with ski boots on. Shuttle does run right by the house every 15-20 minutes. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. But, there was food crumbs on countertop and on the floor (Pizza crust). Refrigerator light was out and the ice maker was leaking water. Master bedroom gets very hot. We ran the heat around 60* all the time. We did washed towels every morning, 1 towel per person. Upstairs, put-out couch springs are broken so could not use it. Used the small roll away bed after we cleaned it. Bunk room was small but very nice for teenagers. The beds up stairs need a little TLC. Noisy mattress when you turn over or get up. The whole family enjoyed the house. Decorations of American Indians, are expensive and beautiful. I would be nervous about them if I had toddlers. More pictures on-line about bathrooms and all bedrooms than decorations would have been more helpful. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Oktoberfest Weekend 2022

The house was very nice and situated within easy walking distance of everything in town. Everything we needed for our four night stay was provided. The only minor negative was newer pots and pans would have been nice but we got by and cooked breakfast and dinner each day.

Great RedRiver rental

We had a wonderful vacation with our kids and grandkids and this house was perfect for watching them fish at the city ponds all day. It's also very convenient for shopping, Steam coffee shop and ice cream shop. We will hopefully book again for future vacations.

Wow is what come to mind! Home was beautiful, great location. Clean plenty of room. It had everything and included games plenty of TVs . WiFi , Cable. It’s was are first time visiting RedRiver . I can tell you as we were leaving we already making plans for next year.
