"We had a truly wonderful stay at The Packhorse Inn. We stayed in Warren Room which was really lovely a very comfortable bed and a fantastic bathroom. Areas of the room and the hallway leading to it are a little tired looking stained carpet and areas of paintwork could be refreshed. The food was absolutely amazing we had roast beef and sticky date pudding for our meal. Lovely service the waiter was very helpful and attentive. "Lady in reception was lovely and as it was a quiet time of the month she kindly gave me an upgrade. The room was spacious and warm. Nice little bar and a great space for dining and breakfast. I dined in at the hotel and the guiness pie and mash was great, although could've done with a small amount of veg. No problem with parking, lots of space. If staying in the area, I would stay here again."
