Staycation

We had a lovely time at the Beartooth retreat. The cabin is cozy and huge with great amenities. The location is fantastic; out of town but close enough to be convenient. Would rent again.

It’s a winner

Great space for our multi generation family to spend a fun vacation together. Liked the open concept of the main living room area, dining room and kitchen for the family to have plenty of space to hang out and be together. Good location to explore Red Lodge, ride the lift for summer views up on the mountain, drive/hike/or bike the Beartooth Pass, even close enough to head down to Cody to raft the Shoshone River. Thanks for the hospitality!

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

This house felt like home to us. We loved our trip to Red Lodge and to this amazing home! It was perfect for our family group of six, with ages ranging from 21 to 86. Everyone loved the immaculate home with its comfortable layout and striking artwork (and the massage chair!) The younger folks appreciated the hot tub and sauna after a day of rock climbing, and the older folks loved hanging out with a book on the expansive deck while listening to the river. Everyone had their own comfortable space, but it was easy to come together to cook family dinners to eat inside or out. The owner was very responsive, and the location is excellent. We'd love to make this trip an annual family tradition!

A lovely stay

This house is so accommodating, both indoors and out. The sound of Rock Creek and the scent of the cottonwoods is like a spa. And in fact, the sauna and hot tub complete the spa feeling. Great for a family or group of friends.

Perfect spot for a ski weekend

We had a great time staying at this place. It was beautiful and the massage chair, sauna, and hottub were great after a day skiing. Location was great. We had no issues, everything was easy and smooth.

Wonderful location for family getaway

We really enjoyed our time at the house! We loved the hot tub and sauna after a day at the ski hill. The robes and slippers were great. There was plenty of space for everyone and the house was well stocked. Thank you!

Family Weekend

We throughly enjoyed our stay here! It was beautiful, spacious and everyone in our family was delighted by the property. The two large living spaces were perfect for adults & kids. Perfect Home for Large Family Gathering

Our family gathered from 4 different states in Red Lodge to celebrate a cousin's wedding over a long weekend. This home was the perfect place for our group and accommodated all of our needs - 10 Adults, a two year old, dogs, and an RV! The home is huge and has enough space for everyone to spread out. My group loved the hot tub, massage chair, large kitchen and family rooms and all the games. The two separate floors, including kitchen and living areas which can be closed off from each other, allowed for extra privacy. The outdoor space is absolutely beautiful Some of us extended our stay by one night because we enjoyed the comforts of the home and weren't ready to leave. Red Lodge center is just up the road for easy access to all the town has to offer. I highly recommend this home if you have a large group and have various needs like us!

Great stay

the house exceeded our expectations.... 6 young (24-30 ) adults thorougly enjoyed the Sauna! Great spaces for playing games but also great spaces for much enjoyed conversations. Well stocked kitchen for making home cooked meals. All in all a week for making fun family memories!!

Perfect space

House was amazing-absolutely perfect for large family and small children-very thoughtful extras and extremely clean-wonderful useful space and the whole family loved the massage chair- I only gave a 4 star rating because of the trash and the lack of garage use-the advertisement and check-in gave description of being able to use garage and states to store garbage that doesn't fit into garbage can in the garage...the garbage can was completely full when we arrived and because of memorial day the trash pickup not until tuesday-so dirty diaper trash etc had no place to go-so had to sit inside the front entry-we had 10 adults and 2 children and cooked all our meals so we had 4-5 bags of trash by the time the dumpster was emptied by trash service....definitely a drawback for us-as garage is not accessible to guests to store extra trash contrary to listing....so otherwise it was completely awesome and perfect and we would rent again and very appreciative of the obvious care that goes into this property for the comfort of guests.

Family and Friends Ski Weekend

What a great home! I use the word home because that's how it immediately felt when we walked in. The personal touches throughout the home were so very welcoming and comfortable. We would recommend Beartooth Foothill Retreat to anyone and hope we have the opportunity to stay again ourselves!

Great house for a group gathering!

We were a group of ten coming from various directions to meet up in Red Lodge for a weekend of skiing and skating. This house was perfect for us! It is really comfortable with a lot of space for us to gather, cook food, play games and enjoy each other's company. We loved all the amenities this house has to offer....the hot tub, the sauna and the massage chair! The beds were comfortable, there were thoughtful additions like robes and towels by the door for hot tub use. The kitchen is really nice and very functional. There is plenty of space downstairs for people to spread out. Brad the property manager was very easy to communicate with. We really appreciated that the house is so close to town, the ski mountain and also pet-friendly. We had a great stay and will definitely choose this house again when we come back to Red Lodge.

Heaven in Montana

The property was just like it was advertised. We had a wonderful stay with 6 adults and two children. Everything was supplied for the kids, from high chair to pack and play as well as a whole closet filled with toys. For the adults the house was spacious and perfectly laid out. The kitchen was well appointed and the bedrooms extremely comfortable. There is not enough time to write everything we liked about the property. The highlights of the house were the hot tub and the fantastic massage chair. The owner of the property was responsive to questions. We look forward to staying here again.

Great location and accommodations for ski trip

Spent a week teaching the kids to ski in Red Lodge, and this was the perfect house to base ourselves out of. It allowed quick and easy access to the mountain, with a customized set up in the foyer to facilitate easy ins and outs with all our ski equipment. It was also great space for three generations to share, eat, and relax after a day out on the mountain. We’re already planning next year’s trip! The owners truly took it to the next level with their consideration of the small things: coffee beans for the early risers; a bottle of wine for the nigh owls; chocolates for the sweet tooth. All in all we felt very welcome in their home and it was a comfortable, easy, and enjoyable place to stay. Thank you for your hospitality. On a personal note, I appreciated your artwork from Bagan. I’m currently serving in Myanmar and am headed back there next week. Cheers!

Amazing house

We stayed here over Thanksgiving. The house was large enough for the entire family. The 2 kitchens made it easy to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. The hot tub was perfect right out the back door. The massage chair was a huge hit. We played fooseball, went in the sauna and were able to enjoy all the time spent at the house. They really spent some time thinking of every little detail. Brad was a great house host and the housekeeper does a great job. We had the perfect stay. Thanks Brad!
