"We were made very welcome by John and hadall we needed for a very comfortable stay with our two dogs. There were lots of little touches that added to our good experience-including welcome bags for each dog and more than adequate continental breakfast. We would highly recommend a d stay again. "Ideal location, hotel has a good atmosphere but the accommodation is in need of an upgrade, staff where very helpful and service at breakfast was very good along with the breakfast.
We would not go back purely because accommodation standard, the staff and location where the plus point"

"We booked a cosy double but requested a refurbished room. When we arrived they took us up to room 19 it was completely bare no lamps, ornaments, curtains or anything on the walls no soft furnishings and very dowdy and old fashioned it looked like a very run down b and b room and no towels it was empty apart from a bed with sheets on and a kettle with tea coffee etc. It looked like they had emptied it and not being used. I went down stairs and asked if that was a refurbished room and was told no...

"Accomodation provided us everything we needed for a one night stay. A lovely continental breakfast hamper, clean room and lovely paddock area to exercise our pooch. Only recommendation is for a couple of the wall sockets to include a USB connection."
