"Beautiful, well equipped cottage. Nice location to discover the Yorkshire dales. Great pub just on the doorstep. Can't wait to go back. "

"Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...

"We had a lovely stay. The hotel is modern, clean and well presented, and the restaurant, bar and breakfast teams were absolutely fantastic — friendly, welcoming and a real credit to the hotel. Unfortunately, our check-in experience was disappointing. Despite booking a luxury double room, we were initially allocated an accessible room. When we queried this and showed our booking confirmation, which clearly confirmed the room we had reserved, both reception staff and the manager suggested the...

"We stayed for a week over Christmas. The room was clean, comfy and fairly modern. The staff were amazing; helpful and respectful every time we spoke to them. The breakfast was good; selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit and pastries for a light breakfast. Sausage, bacon, scrambled egg and beans if you wanted something hot. Overall, excellent value for money!"

"We stayed in the Linwood Suite for 1 night. The room was spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The breakfast was of a high quality. The room is immediately above the function area and noise travels easily (there was a wedding reception) - we weren't warned about this previously but it was not a problem as we went out to dinner and the noise quietened down before midnight. Unfortunately the experience was ruined by loud noise in the room. It was a mechanical noise which sounded like a generator...

"The farm has excellent views to the surrounding countryside, and is within walking distance of Skipton. The farmhouse was spacious and the rooms were cleaned every day. Staff members were always helpful during my say, and the breakfasts were very good."

"Very clean property, great pub with a fantastic breakfast."

"Friendly staff. Great meal. Good location. Definately stay here again."

"The Old White Inn was in a great area and it was nice to stay in an authentic inn. On the second night of our stay, we were awoken by a person coming up the stairs pounding on all the doors on our floor and trying to gain access in the rooms with a key. The person was also slamming the furniture outside the hallway. This went on a few times and then we saw another person receiving deliveries at 3 in the morning and slamming the front door several times. The next morning this same person was...

"Had a great stay. Staff were wonderful. Meals in the restaurant were the best I’ve had out for a long time. I’d travel the hour just for the food. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. It would have been flawless if there was an 2nd pillow and the door from the stairs entry didn’t bang so loundly when people walked through. Both an easy fix. Would definitely recommend"

"The Devonshire Arms hotel is a really lovely place to stay. The room had everything we needed including a fridge and ironing board. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Super breakfast though there was no gluten free cereal available."
