    The Princess is an apartment located in the historic center of Ravello near the two famous and prestigious hotels: the Palazzo Avino, Hotel Belmond Caruso, Hotel Palumbo.
    Appears as an ideal base for a fantastic holiday on the Amalfi Coast with the enviable location.
    A few steps from Piazza del Duomo, Villa Rufolo and from the bus stop. The structures of the Ravello Festival are all within walking distance as well as restaurants, bars and shops. Strongly recommended for those who want to fully enjoy the magic of Ravello.

A/C was not working and some updates are definitely needed

The apartment is in a wonderful location and is spacious. However, during our entire stay (5 nights in August), the A/C did not work (we were in contact with the hosts, but it was not repaired while we were there). If there had been insect screens on the large window in the living room, it would have been possible to sleep with an open window, but the options were having mosquitos buzz in your ear or dealing with the heat as best as possible... Though the apartment is quite dated. For example, the kitchen cabinets are old and completely misaligned (so when you open a cabinet or drawer, you need to move it back into place to be able to properly close it again), you have to hold down the button of the electric water kettle for it to work (if you don't hold it down, it pops right back up), etc. At least the shower hose was repaired during our stay (it was leaking and at some point ripped completely during our visit - so I will give them that, they fixed the hose, otherwise there would have been no way to cool off...). On the surface, the apartment seems clean, but if you take a closer look (e.g. at the fridge, the cabinets (finger prints/smears) or the kitchen sink splash guard, etc. it is clear that it has not been "deep cleaned" in a while. I personally would not stay here again despite the excellent location right in the center of town, because I just didn't feel comfortable being there (in terms of temperature and the fact that a dated home feels unclean, no matter how thoroughly you clean it). The fact that the windows in the kitchen and bedroom are extremely small (i.e. the place is quite dark) doesn't help to make the home feel any "cozier". Also, as it is a street level apartment, it does get quite noisy for whoever is sleeping in the living room (which personally doesn't bother me, but may be a minus for others).

Appartamento con ottime finiture e in posizione eccellente. Mancano alcune zanzariere alle finestre.

Clean, accommodating, and great location. Perfect!

Outstanding! The owners regularly checked on us to provide any information or help that we may need, and the location was in a perfectly beautiful place overlooking the coast. Ravello, itself, seems to be a secret little gem that I found to be better than any of the other locations on the Amalfi Coast that we visited: Atriani, Amalfi, Positano, and Minori. It has the shops, the square, and nightlife without the crowds. Plus it has a couple of small green spaces that seem to be missing from some of the other places we visited. Certainly, I want to return again and stay in the La Princepissa apartment. Can't beat it for the price.

Very beautiful apartment

The apartment is beautifully located with a wonderful view. The apartment is really vell equipped all you need. Luisa is a great and helpful person. I highly recommend.

Good location, overall as advertised

There seemed to be some miscommunication between the person that owned the property and the person that helped to maintain the property. Because of this it seemed that any request we made only was achieved a quarter of the way. However the home is in a beautiful and convenient location to Ravello's center and the price was good.

A good stay at Ravello

The accommodation at la Principessa was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay The apartment was near to the centre of everything in Ravello and near the stop for the bus to Amalfi. This was very important to us as we wanted to see a little of the area. The apt was well furnished and very clean. We had everything we needed there. It was obvious that the apt had been recently decorated and decorated very tastefully. The air conditioning was very effective. The gardens opposite placed the apartment in a lovely setting. The owner was most helpful whilst we were planning our trip answering questions via e mail very quickly. If ever we visit Ravello or the Amalfi coast again then we would certainly be staying at the apartment. Steve, Margaret and sons

Stunning stay in Ravello

We stayed for a week in this apartment in July. It is directly opposite a beautiful garden with stunning views to Minori/Maiori. Ravello Festival was on during our stay and the town was extremely vibrant. The apartment was cosy, sufficiently equipped and had the essential air conditioning. Luisa is extremely helpful and responsive and would recommend anyone to stay here.

Very pleasant stay

The flat is located in a very nice and peacefull street in Ravello. The view from the garden just near the location is incredible. Luisa is very reactive and helpfull. We will certainly go back!
