"Stayed 1 night in a “deluxe” room, the experience started well with the unusual arrival via a short ferry and the drive through the private island, but sadly the luxury experience ended as soon as we had parked up and headed for check-in. Little did we know that the hotel was largely booked out by a huge wedding party, to even get to reception required us to gatecrash through their “private” BBQ held on the lawn in front of hotel. "The best part was a very very comfy bed. Not much else to praise. The property is way up the hill from the beach and bars and it's a rather steep walk. There was a fridge and sink and table setting for 10 but only one drinking glass and only a tiny rubish bin in the bathroom. The bathroom was poorly designed and easily floods and there was black mold. No soaps or anything provided and the towels had holes in them. Also the fan was broken."

"Very nice accomodations! Somewhat difficult to find and we had trouble contacting our host with our late check in. I guess that's to be expected. Host does not live in residence. Would stay there again if nothing else was available. Parking is somewhat difficult if you have a larger car."

"A lovely warm welcome with a real family feel to the B&B - extremely helpful too. The rooms are very comfortable. The breakfasts are outstanding using many local products and the extra homemade treats are delightful. Location is lovely with surrounding countryside - highland cows, sheep and deer whilst at the edge of the village."
