Lyas_Bungalow1 - The best snorkeling across the road

  • From the covered verandah, the bungalow opens up to spacious bedroom and living area, with a modern open kitchen and bathroom at the back. Everything is new and designed for tropical comfort. Lyas Bungalows offer sheltered privacy and stunning tropical mountain views.

    Access to the beach is literally across the road and the likelyhood of seeing anyone there is remote.
    The bungalows are 600m along the beach to Moana Sands, and 400m to Little Poly and Fruits of Raro (Rarotongas top snorkling site).
    Special conditions:
    Smoking allowed outside only There is wifi at the house, in order to
    activated it you need to buy a wifi card from any shop showing the
    telecom “e” sign, or buy a “data pack” online using a credit card.

Bungalow was easy walk to beach and to Charlie’s (excellent fish tacos) and great snorkeling.

Great studio in a fab location. Close to Charlies, Fruits of Rarotonga snorkelling spot & Muri just down the road. Kitchen well equipped. Would definitely book again - was great value for money.

The absolute BEST

We could not have been happier with our accommodation. It surpassed all our expectations. It was spacious, private, comfortable, super clean and in such a great location. We have never in our travels felt so fortunate to find our perfect accommodation. Thanks to Mike and EddieC who were fantastic and so helpful.

Great Location

Well appointed and comfortable bungalow. A very short walk to Charlie's with great atmosphere and live music. Very close to beach and snorkelling. The only downside is we couldnt sit outside because of the ever-present mosquitoes.

A perfect stay

I had the pleasure of staying in the charming Lyas bungalow. It was perfect in every way. Every detail from the cozy furnishings to the thoughtful decor, give a sense of comfort and relaxation. The personal touches in the space made me feel welcome and put a smile on my face. In terms of practicality the bungalow had everything I needed. Definitely a bungalow that I will return to and that I highly recommend. Thank you!

Very nice open plan bungalow back from the road with good privacy. All windows had insect netting and the unit was well equipped. The bed was comfortable and we could get a nice through flow of air so never felt hot and stuffy. Location was good for snorkelling, walking along the beach to Muri and a supermarket close that stays open to 10pm. Communication and advice from Eddie leading up to the stay was excellent. Only negative was the roosters which would start crowing early, however, this seems common across the island as other friends (attending the same wedding) all commented on the roosters. We would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful piece of paradise

Just perfect for my stay. Walking distance to a bar across the road, and a lovely garden/cafe around the corner. Private and quiet. Highly recommend. Was very sad to leave!

Our October 2019 Vacation

From the moment we stepped thru the door we fell in love with this beautiful little bungalow, our home away from home. It was exactly like the photos and was so clean it was just lovely. The location was fab, we especially loved Charlie's across the road who do a mean as fish sandwich. The beach also across the road was stunning with 1 of the best snorkeling spots on the island about 200 meters up the road. I would highly recommend this place to anybody without any hesitation.

A real gem!

This cute bungalow exceeded all our expectations. It was a great quiet location but close to a fabulous part of the reef & very close to Charlie’s for supper in the evening. The accomodation was spotless & we appreciated the extra touches of fruit, milk water & juice. We could fault nothing! Thank you Eddie!

This is a great little spot, down a little inland road so...

This is a great little spot, down a little inland road so it's sheltered from the wind a little. The unit is well equipped with everything you need, and tropical plants are cleverly placed all around the bungalow for maximum privacy. We had a great time, good value for money. And the Pina Colada's at Charlie's bar just across the road were yummy.

The property is new so everything was very clean and fresh.

The property is new so everything was very clean and fresh. It had a very well equiped kitchen and BBQ to self-cater. All windows and doors have mosquito netting so the air runs nicely through the property. Gardens surrounding bungalows lovely. It takes approx 2 mins to walk to lovely Titikaveka Beach and Charlie's Cafe for delish fish sandwiches. We walked into Muri which took approx 15-20 mins however bus can be flagged down on the road near property. Great stay. Good value. I recommend.
