    This 2-bedroom / 1-bathroom custom cabin sleeps up to 6 and features upscale amenities for a comfortable stay in your home away from home. We pride ourselves in providing super clean and comfortable cabins in an ideal location. The cabin is a hidden treasure for you to enjoy.
    The cabin offers a full kitchen and full bathroom (tub/shower), WiFi, heat/AC, campfire pit, electric range, microwave, coffee makers, toaster, cookware, dishware, glassware, utensils, satellite TV/DVD, all linens for beds, bath, and kitchen, propane grill, covered porch, outdoor seating, picnic table, and more. For your safety there are no steps or bunk beds. Prior to your arrival, you will receive a personal key code for contactless check-in to your cabin. Enjoy watching deer and turkey from your covered patio.
    Verizon and ATT towers in the area provide for excellent cell service.

I wondered before we stayed here, how does someone keep a perfect score. Then we realized right away, cozy cabin, great amenities, very friendly hosts, etc.... The firepit with wood was a blast. It sits in the woods, yet you're right around the corner from Mt Rushmore, great hikes, restaurants, etc.... You will be very happy

Peaceful Cabin in the Woods

Yak Ridge Cabins are in a central location, close to many activities and attractions in the Black Hills area. They are clean, cozy, and comfortable- the perfect spot to rest and rejuvenate during a vacation. My family highly recommends staying at Yak Ridge and we hope to be back!

Wonderful Cabin

This is one of our favorite VRBO stays. The cabins are ideally located, well stocked, clean and comfortable. Chris and Cathy were great hosts and provided lots of information about local sites. I would highly recommend this property.

Peaceful place

Enjoyed being out in the woods for the peace and quiet. Went for the Bike Rally and enjoyed being away from all that but close to lots of sightseeing.

We enjoyed our stay at Yak very much. The split floor plan was ideal for our group. The welcome snack basket was a real treat. Everything about the YAK was top notch.

Best Vacay Ever!

This cabin was amazing! The location couldn’t have been any better! It was off a dirt road and in the countryside, but so close to all of the big attractions we wanted to see. The cabin itself was so perfect! It was cutely decorated and extremely clean. We hope to come back soon!

Great location and amenities

The location was central to everything we wanted to do in the Black Hills. There were so many extras at the cabin, from the welcome basket, to the yellow rubber ducky for the kids for bath time. Everything in the cabin had a purpose. We had an excellent stay!

Beautiful Cabin

We loved everything about this property. Secluded enough for privacy, but close drive to attractions. Very clean and comfortable. A gorgeous little get away! 5 minutes to Keystone and Mt. Rushmore. We loved it.

A Hidden Gem!

Loved the floor plan of bathrooms and bedrooms on opposite sides. This cabin is charming, has thoughtful amenities for all your needs. Enjoyed the private firepit, grill, porch. The hosts left us gifts of cheese, snacks and wonderful toiletries. They thought of everything!!

Cabin in the woods

The cabin was nice a cozy. Very comfortable. We were two couples and the cabin had two en-suite bedrooms so it was perfect. The host lives near the cabins and was always around and very friendly. Great location to visit Keystone, Nt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park. Keystone was 5 minutes away. Had a great visit.

Smith stay

The cabin we stayed in was amazing. The furnishings, the atmosphere, and the amenities were the best we've seen in previous stays at other locations. The surrounding environment was peaceful, quiet, and had an abundance of wildlife. The hosts were readily available to answer any questions we had. We were able to tour the hosts' yak farm which was very interesting. We highly recommend staying at this property. Close to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park, and surrounding communities.

Beautiful Property Close to Mt Rushmore and other activities.

We had an excellent stay at this property. It was very clean, very comfortable for our party of six and had so many nice personal touches prepared by the owners. Our only disappointment was we were only able to stay two nights. The location was great as well. It was semi-secluded and close to Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore and Keystone. Checkin and Checkout instructions were clear and easy to follow and the owners were very responsive! We would definitely stay again. Thank you Julie and Jim!

Amazing Cabin Retreat

Either the best or 2nd best place we ever stayed at. Very clean. Cozy. Peaceful. Hosts were absolutely incredible. Enjoyed the care package of treats and coffee. Morning coffee on the patio listening to the wind blow through the trees or the evenings next to a fire looking at the stars….priceless. We will be back!!!

Perfect location & wonderful cabin experience

The cabin is in the perfect location to explore the Black Hills highlights like Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, the Badlands and Devil’s Tower. This cabin is also perfectly appointed and sized for two couples or a family. It was extremely clean and very cozy. We also appreciated the thoughtfulness of the hosts to provide a welcome basket of treats upon arrival. There was also a great assortment of spices and other essentials like coffee for the first AM. Definitely would come back and recommend to others.
