Silver Lining Cabin in the Black Hills near Mount Rushmore

  • Welcome to Silver Mountain Resort and Cabins. Silver Lining Cabin is one of seven that reside on our country property.

    Silver Lining Cabin is an air-conditioned suite built in knotty pine. A unique upper floor loft with slanted ceilings, and very comfortable. This charming space has it's own entrance facing the back meadow and pool. It includes 1 queen bed plus a large comfortable chair that transforms into a small bed and a trifold sleeping mat (both ideal for smaller children). It has one bathroom with stand up shower, plus a mini-kitchen with mini fridge, microwave, toaster, hot plate, coffee pot and dishes. Relax on your own deck with table and chairs, gas grill and great views. Perfect for a romantic Black Hills Getaway or for a small family's Black Hills Vacation.

    The Silver Lining Cabin is a cozy getaway in the middle of the Black Hills. It is close to all of the popular tourist destinations but sits on a quiet road away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist towns. Relax in the heated pool, grill up dinner on your unit's grill, and enjoy your private fire pit in the middle of the trees and peacefulness that make the Black Hills so special.

Everything was good for us! If we were much taller it would have been a problem with the sloped ceilings. The location was perfect!

Our part of the cabin was clean and cozy. It was more like the attic of the cabin. Not suitable for people taller than 5’8”. Overall, a fine place to stay for a short weekend trip.

Cozy Stay/Great Location

This was a nice place to stay on our trip to The Black Hills. The location is conveniently located to local attractions, but still quiet and peaceful for a good night rest after our long days.

Silver Lining Cabin

Silver Lining Cabin is in a great location. Kari Ann was great at communicating with us upon arrival and during our stay. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at the cabin.

We loved our loft cabin. It was perfect for two people. The cabin was centerally located between all the major attractions. Great place to stay.

Beautiful and quiet! We loved watching the free range cows wander around.We had a nice little porch for drinking coffee in the morning and to enjoy the evening. Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse were close by. There was plenty of shopping and good places to eat near us as well.

Cozy Cabin loft

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a perfect setup for my husband and I and our 10 year old grandson. The pool was great, we used the grill for supper and breakfast and the location was very tranquil.

Great stay!

Great place that’s in the middle of everything. Close to the monuments, close to Keystone which I would recommend over Deadwood, and lots of hiking and things to do. Cabins are off the main roads so pretty quiet peaceful place to stay. We will stay here again if we go back! Hosts were awesome!

Enjoyed

We had a loft which was perfect for two people for a short stay. However the property is great for a family. There are fire pits, a swimming pool and a few things for kids to play on.

My wife and I came out to spend 4th of july weekend in the black hills. The owners are super friendly and very attentive. If i could give them more than 5 stars i absolutely would!

Cozy cabin loft

It was a bit tight for me with 3 kids,but we knew ut was goong to be based on the listing. It was a nice cabin and great property. The kids enjoyed the pool and it was a great place to relax. Great location close to Mt Rushmore, Keystone, Rapod City, Hill City etc.

Really great area ... close to what we where we were going

I had always wanted to visit Mt. Rushmore and since I'm a lover of caves/caverns I wanted to see Wind and Jewel Cave in this area. Great location to all. Also took in Mammoth Site in Hot Springs area. Cabin loft was perfect size for the two of us. Very comfortable and quiet location! Will stay there again if in the area!

Convenient Location

Very cozy space, comfortable bed. Easy to get to Custard State Park, Hill City and surrounding area. Pool was refreshing. Was hot in July. AC unit worked well it was loud but the nights cooled so you can open the windows. The Black Hills are beautiful and wonderful hikes everywhere.
